Great results! Congratulations! You deserve to be proud and excited about the results from your hard work!

Itll re solidify in the ac in your house. Uses and measures the same liquid or solid.

Step one - go to your local spice shop (or check out Penzeys online) and order a boatload of new and interesting (salt free/sugar free/MSG free/gluten free/etc free) herb and spice blends. We love curries, chilis, bouquet garni, herbs de provance, balti, english rub, taco/fajita seasoning, zatar, etc... Step two - select…

second Smartwool socks. I actually have these in a variety of weights for year-round running. Hands down best running socks EVAHHHH (and they last, so they're honestly worth the price, IMO)!

Also, if you decide to reduce carbs or just want to cut cals more, instead of rice or tortilla, put fajitas over fresh salad greens. Top with salsa instead of heavy salad dressing.
-
The fajitas thing looks really good, do you just pan fry everything until it's cooked to your desired tenderness (and obviously thoroughly cook the chicken)? I'm gluten-free (not for weight loss) and GF tortilla/fajita wraps are usually pretty dry and blah. This looks worth eating on top of rice! [/quote] Yes, I use a cast…

Yes! I second this! Congratulations.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler http://wickedgoodkitchen.com/best-ever-blueberry-cobbler-gluten-free-option/ Chicken Pepper and Mushroom Fajitas with Refried Beans No recipe. This was what I was talking about when I suggested picking a lean protein, learning to use spices and herbs, and piling on the extra veggies. Weigh…

You're welcome to friend me and look through my diary. I cook at home a lot. I also use the recipe builder tool on this site to determine my nutritional info. Some of my recipes: Bison Zucchini Shepherd's Pie, Lemongrass Basil Chicken Stir Fry, Grilled Shrimp with Mango Salsa, Southwest Quinoa Salad, Lightened Up Artichoke…

You're at my goal weight :) I'm about 7-8 lbs away.

Just swim. Lots of laps. 100m/y of each stroke, then maybe 25 m/y free sprints, then whatever else you want. Mix long distance with sprint work. Get a watch so you can start timing yourself, pacing your rests between sprints. Watch youtube videos of swimming for form. Google "swimming workouts" - tons of stuff pops up.

This is a really difficult post to comment on. Everyone has different ideas of what "diet" means. Some people require or prefer low sodium recipes. Others low fat. If you want specific recipes (i.e. a lot of bulk for low cal/low fat), you might want to specify. For me, I would recommend starting with the Weight Watchers…

Frozen Rice Biryani Raisin and Nut Chocolate Bar Veggie chips (my partner and I have to be careful buying these - we could eat the entire bag on the drive home!) Mochi ice cream (yummm)

I think there's a big difference in the use of the word "binge" that is being overlooked. A "binge" IMO is an uncontrolled, unplanned, mindless (or compulsive) eating session that racks up a couple thousand (or more) unplanned calories. A whole pizza, an entire bag of chips, a carton of ice cream... etc... Planning for a…

I'm sure you were, and are, a beautiful young woman. I'm saddened by your comment that you felt "huge." You may want to talk to a doctor since the people who know you are expressing concern. Best wishes on your journey.…

A "lightened up" version of tuna noodle casserole. Here's one version: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/tuna-noodle-casserole-10000001949756/ Also, I agree with one of the posters - easy does it on tuna - contains high levels of mercury. I only eat it a couple times a month. Try mahi mahi, salmon, or shrimp instead.

Yes! Great work! Big difference!

I'm just going to leave this here... it found its way into my Facebook feed today and seems strikingly applicable: http://www.buzzfeed.com/keithhabersberger/what-men-are-really-saying-when-catcalling-women Comments from people on the street aren't about you - they're about them, or their position in society.

There's a learning curve, but you'll adjust - it's really not that bad! I have been GF for over 5 years. Feel free to add me - my diary is open to friends and I cook so you might get some ideas for recipes. I know this sounds trite, but going gluten-free has changed my life.

Great! Love to see progress pics with similar stats. It's a big difference and 25 lbs is worth being proud of!

Learn to cook. Offer to help do the shopping. Frozen vegetables taste better and often have betree nutritional value than canned. Steam green beans and grill chicken. If breasts are too expensive, buy boneless skinless thighs, or roast a whole chicken and you have a meal for your whole family. Learn to cook rice and beans.…

Yep! Truth^^^^ Great job! Success isn't measured by the scale alone!

You are not alone! I typically have 1 - 2 rest days a week, but usually I will do yoga or walk or do a cardio routine that I enjoy (like zumba/hip hop). I can't cross train every day, it's just too much.

If you mean does it hurt when a needle moving at a thousand RPM injects ink under a few layers of skin, then yes! LOL That said, everyone handles it differently, different locations and different tattoo artists all can change the pain level. Some tattooists seem to have a gentler touch than others. The worst part for me…

I think I finally got the photo to work! Oy... I also found this gem from June/July 2008: As you can see, this has been a many-year process with ups and downs...

B Vitamin Complex? I feel a "boost" when I make sure to take my Multivitamin. Other than that, start lifting weights. I've seen a huge improvement since I started lifting and actually working the program (calorie deficit, eating naturally-occurring foods, cutting back on alcohol and sugar).
