  • Mine is that as much as most people will tell you that they do what ever food/fitness regime they do for health, most do it for looks. IMHO. Now I have seen some people make big changes because of failing health, but that's not what I mean.
  • Aldi's or Save a Lot is also what I was gonna suggest. (though I find Save a Lot to have less of my favs). I do like to have cereal for breakfast sometimes and can get a myriad of kinds cheaper at Aldis. When I was at home I would go to Aldis first and then to a dept or grocery store for whatever I couldn't get there. I…
  • I was thinking the same thing like why would he jump to that conclusion?
  • cool info, I did not know you could do that
  • When I was 18 and exercise bulimic I weighed 137lbs for a few days at one point. I'm 5'4". I wore a size 6 then and into the low 140s (that was in 2001 though and the sizes seem to be more vanity sized now). I have a larger frame and in retrospect did not look good (even in the 140lbs). Everyone's different. Right now I'm…
  • I started on Monday.
  • Hi, I joined in January but I don't post much on the boards. I somehow gained 10lbs last fall. In January I started tracking everything on here. My goal was to lose that 10 and then another 10. I've met my goal. When I first started I found it very difficult to lose even 5lbs. The support on here has helped immensely. Plus…
  • People are mean in general. Plus sometimes they are jealous. There's also the fact that people often expect everyone to fit in and be the same. I get hassled sometimes since I've been (mostly) vigilantly watching what I eat this year. A few years ago I was vegan for probably less than a year. I did feel healthier but it…
  • I also agree that people should log what is right for them. Is it hurting you if someone you're friends with logs cooking? No. I do not count the walking that I do when I'm at school (there are classes on different floors). I also don't count walking I do when I'm running errands to stores (& parking further away in the…
  • This is a playlist I made that I use often when exercising. 1. Gang Bang-Madonna 2. Army of Me-Christina Aguilera 3. Call It What You Want-Foster the People 4. Dancing on My Own-Robyn 5. Doin’ Dirt-Maroon 5 6. Don’t Stop-Foster the People 7. Funkytown-Lipps, Inc. 8. Hot Stuff-Donna Summer 9. Knock on Wood-Amii Stewart 10.…
  • That sounds very neat, the BPM radio station.
  • This is a very interesting, informative thread. I've tinkered with my recommended calories on MFP since I started. I'm okay with what I'm currently eating (not hungry). However I've reached my weight loss goal. Now I want to focus on endurance and strength. I see myself working out more/differently in the near future. I…
  • I wish you luck. My mother once had a weight loss of around that much when she was 50 so it is possible. I've added you. I also suffer from anxiety and pain issues. I have sent you a request.
  • I'm currently around 165, I'm trying to get to 155. I feel best in the 150s. When I was young and oobsessive I got to 140, which was supposedly a healthy weight but I was a little bony and mentally controlled by my weight, which was awful. I'm 5'4".
