I'm a firm believer that your body needs fuel, so I think aiming for your macros while staying within your net calorie goal is a good idea. If a full protein drink would put you over your net calorie goal, perhaps only have 1/2 or 3/4 of a serving?

I've been using my fitbit flex for about the last month and LOVE it. I have my MFP settings at sedentary, and allow fitbit to adjust my exercise. You still do need to manually enter your exercise and start time info to MFP, but the fitbit syncs from there and adds a fitbit adjustment line to your exercise page. That's at…

add me too:) I've recently gotten back to jogging after a knee injury several years ago, and I'm pushing myself to do a 5K this summer at at least a 10 minute mile pace, which is what I was running before the knee issue. I've been able to get myself back to almost 1/2 an hour of jogging at a time at a 12-12.5 minute mile…

you look great in all of your pics, but what's great about your post is that you sound HAPPY about the lifestyle change you've made. Congratulations!

I've just gotten into jogging again and have actually progressed to where I can jog on the treadmill at about a 12 minute mile pace for almost 1/2 an hour...once I hit about halfway, I start telling myself that if I could make it through 12 hours of back labor and push out an 8.5 pound baby, I can do anything for another…

I completely agree with this. I started out with the 1200 and lost about 9 pounds really fast, then actually did research (thanks to postings like this from other MFPrs) and realized I wasn't eating enough to be successful long term. I upped my base MFP calories to 1390, and usually eat back most of my exercise calories.…
