2021 is off to a great start! I'm going to end it mentally and physically lighter!

Hanging on was still an accomplishment in 2020!

Well all of this sounds very familiar! Used to be able to be "positive" to myself but spending 2020 staring at the news, sitting on my rear, and getting more and more out of shape created a ton of negative self talk :( Here are my 2021 goals: *PLAN MY MEALS-constant grazing = cow :( *Exercise 5 times a week. I'm starting…

That is an impressive achievement! Good for you!

I'm 51 and I'm back. I lost 30 lbs about 7 years ago on MFP. Sadly I have found those 30 and an additional 20 more. I wanna get healthy again! I'd love to join you all!

Hi everyone! I am an former MFP member who has returned to lose 50 lbs for good! Quarantine was NOT good to my scale-I'm sure it's broken, it CAN'T be anything I ate, drank or inhaled while sitting in my recliner watching Netflix! Since we can't really go anywhere or do anything now is the time to for me to get myself…

Trying to figure out why is probably a waste of time. Just focus on making good food choices. Rent some exercise videos from your library and do those at home. Maybe your 3 year old will "join" you. It will make it more fun for you to laugh at him/her while you are doing something positive for yourself. Good luck, you CAN…

I agree except that she will get suspended. School is the only place in the world where you don't have a right to defend yourself.

I plan a snack every night at 9:00 when I am watching TV and winding down. I can't imagine not eating at night. I usually have air popped popcorn, with parkay spray butter and a glass of wine or Southern Comfort.

Wahoo that's awesome!

Why not take your measurements and focus on watching the numbers on the tape measure get smaller instead of the numbers on the scale?

Detoxing is unnecessary and unhealthy. Just eat healty foods and your body will detox itself. Any weight you lose using those products just comes right back when you stop taking them. As far as reving up your metabolism goes we have to get up and move-a lot to make the lbs go away. You should also consider lifting weights.…

I agree! If you want to do it sign up! Look at it this way if you go by yourself you don't have to worry about anyone slowing you down! In the unlikly event that your running partner is faster than you, you won't have them rushing you, you can go at your own pace. Good luck!

1. What is your current goal? I started at 175 lbs in Sept of 2011, I am down to 148. Initially my goal was 145 lbs but I think I want to shoot for 135 lbs. that will put me in the middle of my healthy weight range. 2. What are any obstacles to reaching that goal? Donuts, cakes, and other snack foods that people bring into…

Wow, you have some really jealous co-workers!
-
Anyone who would think to make fun of you is just jealous that they don't have the drive and motovation to try something new and you don't care what petty people think, right?! Go run and have fun!

Get even by NOT eating all the crap your mother in law puts out. Get even by being healthier. When you want to eat the muffin or whatever, chew gum, drink water, offer to help prepare something so that you stay distracted. Don't let her win, you are stronger!

Reading all the activities in your post made ME tired! Focus on eating lots of fruits and veggies, staying away from non-diet pop, and fried foods. when football season ends you can focus on calorie counting. Just make sure the food you put in your mouth is as healty of a choice as you are able to make. Good Luck!

THROW OUT THE BOX! You will crack and eat the whole darn thing. Open the box and dump the mix into the trash. No one could look at that day after day and NOT eat it. Good luck!
