I talked with my trainer about it yesterday. She was a bit perplexed by the whole situation and asked how I felt about it. I told her I felt awkward, but let it go in one ear and out the other. She said that some people just like to hear themselves talk. As I was doing cardio yesterday, I was sure to look extra focused :)

I always have a protein drink prior to my morning workout. It doesn't make me feel nauseated at all. You could sip on your drink as you're driving to the gym, that way it's not a big gulp all at once.

I weighed in with my trainer today, knowing I had gained weight. Surprisingly enough, I had lost 2 lbs of fat and gained 3 lbs of muscle! While it was a nice surprise, I was very nervous :)

I've gained a few lbs but haven't stuck yo my plan the last few weeks. Back on the horse this week and I think re-starting is harder than the initial start! ;)

We were one of the fortune ones to get power back early. Some of my friends are still without. We got about 2 feet of snow, and when that happens, Olympia basically shuts down :). I don't drive in the stuff so I relied on my fiancee to get where I needed to go, which was basically nowhere!

Moose tracks mint chocolate chip ice cream is calling my name right now. Fortunately I'm too tired to go get some.

We have power lifters at my gym that grunt, groan and drop weights. I block them out and focus on my workout, not theirs. Headphones are a blessing in that regard as well.

Hi ladies! My wedding is in October and I've got another 30 lbs to lose. I'd love to be in a group or added as a friend! :)

My bf is heavy, but he treats me like a queen. Its up to him if he wants to lose weight, even though I do worry about it. I think it depends on how someone treats you, not what their physique is.

I constantly take breaks, but start again before my heart rate gets too low. You don't want to injure yourself by pushing through a workout if you are starting out. I remember to challenge myself in each workout...if I am on the treadmill for 30 minutes, the next day I push it to 35.....small steps will make great gains…

I'm weight training 4 days, Cardio 6 days (4 on the elliptical and 2 on the treadmill) for 40 minutes and eating according to my nutritionist/trainers plan. I've been fortunate to get in on some specials to keep costs low, I typically train with her 2x per week and the other 2 weight training days are on my own. I have bad…

Hi Everyone! I'm Tracie....born and raised in Olympia, although I did venture out to Seattle and California. Where'd I finally end up? Why back here in O-town!

I'd love to be a part of the group!

My trainer helped show me how to do this. I'm able to do it now when I'm working out on my own. It still takes a conscious effort on my part but it helps with my posture too.

Bumping so I can post tomorrow!

Ouch! So glad I don't have a cat!

Do you have another place to go temporarily until you can save up money? I had a similar situation with my ex-husband. I ended up leaving him and moved back in with my folks. I had to block him from my bank account so that he couldn't use it on drugs and alcohol. You need to get out as soon as you can. There are safe…

I tried Shakeology for a month. And like most folks on here, found it made me more "regular", but with having my gall bladder removed that seemed to have the same effect. I didn't lose any weight, but I wasn't exercising like I am now. The chocolate is the best one. I find that my whey protein seems to do the trick for…

I'm not too sure yet. I'm looking at both the figure and bikini. I know figure is much more muscular than bikini and that bikini is relatively new.

Finished week one! This is my 3rd attempt at completing Insanity. Like Stefani says, it's easier to take it one day at a time than think about 60 days. Look out week 2.....I'm comin' for ya!

Bumping! Sounds wonderful!

Mine would be to ditch this 7-4 desk job and become a volleyball coach. I love working with athletes and sharing knowledge about the sport I love. My other one is to one day be a fitness IFBB Pro....that's gonna take some time and I'm sure I'll be in the Masters division by the time I reach it!

Hi txmom! I'm in the same boat! 5'6", CW 188 and GW 145. I've lost about 8 lbs since being here and my weight is at a standstill. I'm trying to add in more exercise and cutting my calorie intake by 100 to see what happens. Tracielinn

These look delicious! I'll have to try them for Thursday night dinner with our friends! *Bump*

I'm doing slow strength training 2X per week. My last round had me focusing on tricep extensions that were set up like bicep curls but the weight focused on the tricep area. The other exercise was a seated extension that focused on triceps as well as chest and shoulders. Now I'm working on more of my shoulders, but my…
