Your legs look great! You have no worries there. I like the nude hose better. It just seems a bit less harsh to me. No matter what you wear, I hope you have a great time!

I'm 42 and I try to look appropriate for my age. But I still wear my torn skinny jeans from American Eagle... I just can't give them up since I fit into them:)

^^This. Esspecially #1. When I started I was going too fast and got worn out before I could complete the longer runs at the end of the program. When I slowed down I was able to finish an then work on my speed.

Getting past the 25 minute mark was my sticking point too. What worked for me was to not worry about speed, just slow down for the entire run and just force through the last 5 minutes for a few days. And I went to a good running store where they analyzed my stride and told me what shoes would work best for me. Since I…

I bought myself a kayak when I hit my goal. I love using it, so it helps me to get out there and stay active.

Great heart-warming story. Thanks for sharing!

Kettlebells are AWESOME!!! And I would definitely get the contoured ones if you can find them. The wrist comfort is well worth it!

Go talk to them and find out what your options are. Don't worry about what kind of shape you are in - they will help you with that regardless of your starting point. WHen my daughter joined the Marines she couldn't even run 1/2 a mile. In a little over 3 months they had her ready to ship with great scores on her fitness…

Ditto!

Sounds to me like you succeed 6 days a week! Congrats - That’s an over 85% success rate!

You and your family are in my prayers. I have faith (as your mother does) that you will make the right choice.

Fantastic! What an inspiration! You look gorgeous, fit and happy!

Yes! I love working out with kettlebells! I love getting strength training and cardio done at the same time. Plus I find I don't get as bored with it as I do with most tother things. And 20 minutes goes by very quickly. Hope you enjoy it too!

I'm not sure if kettlebells are on here as exercise or not. I've used my HRM while working out with my 15 lb kettlebell and burned an average of about 12 calories a minute. I ususally log it at about 10 calories per minute to account for the warm up time. Hope this helps.

Good advice!

I have asthma. I haven't started running yet, but I start training for the Indy 500 mini marathon next week. I've been working out for the past year and have noticed a great improvement with my asthma since I've changed my eating habits and started working out. Dropping white flour and most processed foods from my diet…

Don't get discouraged because he isn't interested. You are, and that's what matters. When you reach your goals you will be so proud of yourself you wont need his interest. So stick with it and reap the rewards! We are here to encourage you. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I've got a sportline. It works fine, but was a bit complicated to figure out at first. I've heard really good things about Polar though.

I'm at my goal weight so my goal now is to stay there and stay motivated to exercise.
