I agree with what other posters have said about needing to hit the “enough is enough” point, that it’s a mental block not a physical one and that you need to find what motivates you. But I believe that you don’t have to just sit around and wait for the “enough is enough” point to just hit – I think you can work toward…

You look great - fit and happy! So don't be discouraged! But the truth is there may never be a time when you won't think about what you are eating in terms of calories and nutrients. You've spent a lot of time learnig these things and training yourself to be mindfull of them. I'm 5 lbs under my goal weight and I still…

I'm 5'1" and I went from 130 to 105. But at 105 i feel a bit too skinny. I'm slowly building up to 110 so I can give blood. But I feel like my ideal weight is about 108. My profile pic is me at about 110.

Does your other half: Do an equal share of the housework when he/she is home? He does his own laundry and puts the dishes away, but I like to do the rest Cook for you? – Yes, a lot more than I cook for him Go food shopping? – Yes, more than I do Give you massages when you ask? - I don't ask Tell you you are…

I found that protein keeps me satisfied longer than fat or carbs so I strive for a marginally higher protein diet. Starting the day with a breakfast with at least 20 grams of protein seems to be optimal for me. Fiber also helps me to feel full. That’s why I only eat whole grains and try to find low glycemic index foods. I…

An hour on the stair stepper...Okay really just 30 minutes. Lemon butter Tilapia for dinner. Crank the fireplace up and pretend I'm somewhere tropical instead of freezing in the midwest.

Well said! You rock!

I’ve been married 10 years and in the last 2 fitness has become very important to me. My husband is like not interested in fitness or being very active but I don’t let it deter me from staying fit and doing things I enjoy. We are able to share a lot of experiences together without him being active. This year I’m doing the…

You look great!! Very healthy. But if you are concerned it's best to ask your doctor. I'm 5'1" with a small frame and my doctor is okay with me between 106 and 110 which I've been maintaining for about 7-8 months now.

OMG...THANKS!!!! You just made my day! I'm 41.

I'm 5'1.5". My current weight is 106 and my goal weight is a solid 110. I origianlly set my goal weight at 105, but when I got there I decided it really was too low and am working on adding a bit of weight but putting it on slowly hopefully mostly in the form of muscle. I workout with kkettlebells 3 days a week, walk 2-3…

Thanks for posting this. I needed that reminder that not doing or saying something possitive can be as bad as saying something negative.

I live in Indiana and have all my life. But for a few years I was a technology consultant and I commuted to Denver every other week. So I can really relate to what you are doing! I found the Denver area to be easy to settle into even though I was only there about 10 days each month. It’s big and beautiful and there is a…

YAY!!! Good job resisting! Fries are hard! I knew I had to completely give them up if I was going to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It was so hard, but I haven't had a fry for over 3 years. Now I don't even miss them.

Congrats!! So happy to see you on your way to reaching your dreams! You sound so confident and happy. You're going to do great in training!

Wow!! Great Job!

For me it is mentally harder. I worked so hard to get where I am, I'm always afraid of losing ground and worried about finding the right balance. But the longer I'm in maintenance and doing fine the more confident I'm becoming. I have had to find new fitness goals to keep me motivated to exercise.

Don't be discouraged! You are young - your skin with shrink back into shape in time. Keep it moisturized, drink lots of water and do some strength training to tone the underlying muscles.

I went cold turkey after having strep throat and being unable to drink anything but water for over a week. If that hadn't happened I'm not sure I could have done it. Good luck!!

Used to be french fries...but I haven't had any since 2008. Now it's pizza.
