I've been doing maintenance for about 4 - 5 months now. I still log everything during the week so I can relax more on the weekends or special occaisons and know I'm not going to gain some back.

I workout mornings before breakfast. I doubt that's most optimal for everyone, but it's the best time for me. So I'm going to stick with it.

I read somewhere that taking fish oil would help (along with diet) to reduce belly fat. I've been taking it for about 8 months now and believe it has helped...plus it has lots of other great benefits. It may be just mental, but even so it seems to be helping. Just a thought.... Good luck.

I try to get 20 grams at breakfast because I work out before breakfast. But I've noticed that more protein at breakfast helps me stay satisfied until lunch time.

I have insomnia too. I've found that the best time for me to exercise is in the morning. It gives me an energy boost throughout the day and by then end of the day it's gone and I'm pretty tired. And I've found that getting regular exercise does help me to sleep better. Good luck finding a solution that works for you!

Don't give up!!! You can do this. It might be one little step at a time, but you CAN do it!! It may take some time to form different habits, but you're not a failure as long as you keep trying. It is hard, but I promise you the payoff is worth it! YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
