Yes i make an effort to keep the belly button as far in as I can and not stop breathing :). I think it helps to an extent. Practicing good posture and balance should help keep your core somewhat in shape.

I am not terribly over weight but I am a chronic over eater, I also lacked motivation until i followed faithfully for an entire week and immediatly found that I felt more awake and my digestion was working better after 1 WEEK...that was all the motivation I needed stick with it you'll see results.

When water doesn't cut it for me I use flavored tea. Chai is my favorite. Sometimes the flavors trick me into feeling like I ate something without the calories.

In my mind it makes sense to count a day as when you wake up and go to sleep, since you are still up and expending energy no matter what the clock says...

I like to drink Chai tea it makes me feel fuller than water and with all the spices in it, it's very tasty with no milk or sugar and it's 0 calories! If you don't like Chai try some different herbal teas. They say that hunger is often mistaken for thirst so you may not be getting enough water as well.
