  • I also have a Polar HRM, but never had any problems with it yet; so I'm just guessing now but I think there is a high possibility that it might be a dead battery issue in that transmitter device which goes on the chest strap, especially considering you used it for a year.
  • I just started doing Turbo Fire as well. I use a heart rate monitor to track calories I burn. Here are the results for the ones I did until now for a general guideline: Fire 30 + Stretch 10 --> Did this 2 times with "New to Class" option, they were around 550. Once without "New to Class", it was 470. HIIT 15 + Stretch 10…
  • Yes, I get that and agree with everything you mentioned. Of course stress is bad for everything. I gained 60 pounds during my depression and was ovulating at most 1 time in 4-5 months. This was NOT my point. I can't agree more with you there - stress is BAD. But I still think the first step to de-stress, as you say, starts…

  • This. I also switched to vaping 4 months ago. I started with medium nicotine strength and gradually lowered it to minimum. I sometimes still crave for regular cigarettes, but these cravings are not strong enough to make me start smoking again.
  • I have PCOS, along with insulin resistance of course. I tried Atkins 2 years ago and I've lost 33 pounds in about 4 months. Low carb is definitely working, but I don't find in sustainable. So I'm trying to lose the rest with good old calorie restriction and exercise now. I might also add, Atkins caused my cholesterol to…
  • My favourite snack is roasted white chickpeas. They are delicious, low calorie (less than 100 for 25g), and full of fiber to keep you full. The only downside is that they are really hard to find where I live (UK), so I try to stock them up whenever I can. You might find some online though. They last a while, too.
