Interesting since ginger is usually a cure for nausea. But there's always that person that has the opposite affect from something as everything else - maybe you're that person for crystalized ginger.

One week isn't long enough to judge anything. Don't get discouraged. Keep up the work and you'll see the results.

Just be careful eating every last one of those exercise calories when you're getting big numbers - unless you're spending hours in the gym, running a marathon, etc... If you're spending 20 minutes doing yoga for example and claiming 700 calories I'd be careful. If you're doing a strenuous 8 mile hike for example then yeah…

Test your scale with a weight - then step away. This much obsession with the scale isn't healthy. If the natural weight fluctuations cause you this much distress then a break from the scale may be in order.
-
Can you walk it? I am doing a Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving. I am having some health things right now so running isn't a good option - totally going to walk and have fun!

You do know pooping excessively isn't actually weight loss right? Laxative abuse is never a good plan. You don't need a cleanse if your body is working properly - and if it isn't that should be something a doctor helps with - not something you try and fix with teas.
-
Why would you do that? Does your job depend on you doing this ridiculous plan?
-
Are you sure you did IIFYM correctly? That seems awful low - especially for a male. Usually as others have pointed out MFP is lower because it doesn't include exercise and IIFYM does. In this instance I would 100% go with MFP - and eat back at least a portion of your exercise calories.
-
MFP isn't trying to sabotage your weight loss - that would be a crazy business plan - they're added so you can eat them.

Ugh. Really - she guilt trips you because she can't control herself? This is why I don't do fitness buddys. I don't want to be responsible for another adult's behavior. Do your thing and keep up the good work you're doing. Don't fall into her trap and give up on your goals just because she did.

A lot of people track weekly rather than daily. Sounds like this would suit you. Your body doesn't really keep track of nice little 24 hour periods.
-
One thing to look out for - if I remember correctly those little containers are more than one serving. Be sure you're logging the full amount if you eat the whole thing.
-
What else would it be? When you add flavor to water it doesn't stop being water.

I refused to eat at Wendy's for years because of those square burgers. Then I finally ate there. I love Wendy's. Not as much as OP but I was wrong to judge the squares.

So are you including your exercise in your activity level AND eating your exercise calories on top of it? Is that what I'm reading?? So you're basically double eating the exercise calories? If that is the case - you should either 1) not eat back the exercise calories or 2) drop your activity level to not include exercise…
-
Really that's the only reason I read it - not to meet anyone but the top/bottom question had me curious where this thread was going... I thought there might be a coming out party or something.

Drink some extra water to help flush the extra sodium you probably consumed and just get back on track.

I use Map My Fitness. Mostly I find it accurate for distance as long as it can get a good GPS signal. Sometimes it goes completely nuts but you can see it on the map when it does that and suddenly you've walked 3 miles to your left and back again or something ridiculous. The calories though are super inflated - I never…

Personal choice. I log wake to sleep - even if sleep comes after midnight.

Well whatever you want to call it if you want to lose weight it is all about the calories. You can eat low carb or whatever you define clean as but if you're not in a calorie deficit you won't lose weight. WW is just another more restrictive complicated way of being in a calorie deficit (if you follow it as intended).
-
Are you trying to set it below the minimum? 1200 for women or 1500 for men?
-
Don't use someone else's recipe when you have no idea what they used. Ihop restaurant uses pancake mix in their eggs to make them fluffy - whoever entered those srambled eggs could do something similar. Or they could be including any number of things they add - you have no idea. If you made the eggs enter the eggs as raw…
-
Of course. What makes you think you wouldn't lose weight?
-
Both sound high to me so if I could only choose between the 2 definately going with the 550.
-
Of course I log it! Personally for me it isn't worth logging at all if I am only logging some of what I eat. That's just a bunch of useless data then.
-
It depends on the person. Some people 10 some people more. Took me 50 to drop a size as even then I barely fit in the smaller size.
-
Since you're at school I am assuming this is a sandwich you're purchasing pre-made which is causing the logging problem. Log the ingredients separately using your best guess of the type and amounts of each item. Then you can save it as a meal and just easy peasy log it in the future since it sounds like you may eat this…

I guess if I were counting calories I wouldn't do a lot of deep frying in cups of oil. You can do a pan fry in just a little oil and it will be just as tasty with far fewer calories.

Agreed - Celebrity. I have had 2 very nice cruises with them - one to Alaska in one of those rooms on the back of the ship with the big balcony - best way to view the glaciers EVER - instead of fighting the crowds on deck early in the morning you can lay in the lounge chair on the balcony in your bathrobe. PERFECT! The…

I didn't say she did but when you're adding in chicken juices, the coating that fell off the chicken, and the leftover oil whatever that may be then you really are just picking a number out of nowhere and calling it only leftover oil - which is why I do exactly what you do and what I said so not sure why you're disagreeing…
