I eat brown rice everyday because is so damn cheap and i shop on a tight budget. But i don't mind telling you that the minute i find an alternative to it, it's gone from my diet. Everyone goes on and on about how it's whole grain and rich in fiber, but i think that's greatly overstated. Out of the great 35g of carbs you…

Its funny you should mention this, I literally just went through my closet and pulled out the dresses im dying to wear but are waaay too tiny to even try on, then I hung up up on my walls in full display. Its great on days when i feel im too sore or too tired to workout, then i look at them and get my *kitten* off the…

If i'm correct Uncle Ben's says cook for 30mins...I used to have this problem, so i just upped the cooking time to 40/45mins instead. I don't think you are ever gonna get rid of the natural 'nuttiness' of brown rice, but this should make it better.

Carrots are a great source of Vit A just one serving should do the trick. Also try adding spinach or kale to your diet. I usually get most of my vit c from a supplement but nothing say pure vitamin C like a good old orange or orange juice. Most of my iron usually comes from fish i have everyday and my soy cereal or shake…

I've read through virtually all the posts here and i don't think anyone has asked yet: how many servings are in a bag? i know its an 8oz bag which is usually 4 servings, but does that weight include the water? Would a bag be enough for 3 or 4 people? Also do these noodles come dry-packed without the water in them? Thanks

Its not 'inappropriate', but i personally hate seeing seeing girls running around in sports bras.......mostly cos im stupid jealous, lol. Im waaay to overweight to try it, but once the fat is off i'll probably be rocking em every chance i get lol. but for now, HELL NO!

Just mixed mine for tomorrow! I've found that pre-mixing stops it from having a distinct 'powdery' taste to it and gives it more time to properly dissolve. just my two cents :)

I eat lots of fish, skinless chicken breasts, & have 2-3 scoops of my protein shake daily. I also stay away from red meat for the time being which is really high in fat. i don't consciously try to keep my fats low, i just adjusted my ratios when i saw that my fat intake was already low and i needed more allowance for my…

I have mine set at 10% fat 30% carbs and 60% protein, although i do tend to go over my carbs quite a bit though not by alot lol. I interesting seeing how different everybody else's is :)

Haha im glad im not the only one with this problem. I tried to switch to cauliflower-rice instead of my usual brown rice to help me cut down on carbs, but my local store (weis) has just 1 cauliflower head at $3.50 which is more expensive than a 2lb bag of brown rice worth 20servings! I guess i'm still stuck with those…

When I started this challenge, i was over 200lbs and never thought for a minute i would make my challenge goal to lose 32.5lbs. I thought might as well aim high and do my best to get halfway there. 12weeks later, I've lost 30.5lbs and i feel great! This was the 1st challenge i joined on MFP so i couldn't have done it…

Hey Ladies! Seems a few of us are having a bad case of "the weekend slump". Hang in there!. That's 1 of the reasons i had weigh in set to monday. so we can push through the weekend temptations. Its hard, and i myself fail almost every weekend, but then i get back up and give it another shot! @yankeefamily05: ya girl! kick…
