  • This thread is too quiet! I have now done 3a and 3b once. I loved 3a. It was a fun workout and the BWM is positively evil. Surprisingly, I wasn't too sore from it. 3b though was boring. Although the YTWL does kill, I miss heavy weights. I also hate prone cobra. How's everyone else doing? I am dreading the BWM I have to do…
  • Congrats to everyone who started! I am in the middle of Stage 3. The Stage 1 workouts go quickly, but you will soon miss the short workouts. Great job everyone and feel free to add me if you want some extra support.
  • I finished Stage 2 yesterday. I posted a blog with my results: http://losingatlosing.blogspot.com/2013/04/new-rules-of-lifting-for-women-stage.html I didn't love Stage 2. I am hoping Stage 3 is better - which from what I hear a lot of people say they like it better. I am not taking any break off because I took my time…
  • Hey girls. I have one workout left in Stage 2 and then I will post my results. Stage two has taken me FOREVER because I keep skipping workouts - I took a whole week off last week. So what should have taken 2.5 weeks is now 4 weeks. Ready to finish Stage 2 and move on! Good job everyone! I am not loving Stage 2. I'm…
  • I wrote that in another blog post. See this one: http://losingatlosing.blogspot.com/2013/03/nrol4w-stage-one-complete.html
  • I'm starting Stage 2 today - I have a feeling the squats + step ups + lunges are going to kick my *kitten*! But I am really looking forward to this stage.
  • Tried on pants I haven't worn in years and they fit! Which makes me down 4-5 sizes!
  • 30-35 or so. I usually do a 15 minute warm up on the bike too - just to get my muscles loose.
  • Totally understand. RIP bigger boobs. :(
  • I usually lose 5-6 my first week. It feels great! But remember that it is likely water weight and don't expect those great big numbers all the time. Slow and steady wins the race.
  • By the end - by the last one - I was nearly dead. Like hardly able to get up. Then as soon as I felt comfortable on the last one - it meant it was time up weight. My last set of lunges was nearly fatal.. haha.
  • I didn't follow the book diet. To me, that was eating too much. I know everyone is different, but I stick to a 1200-1400 calorie diet. Even with that I feel like I'm eating all the time. I think I started off way too low so I increased weight almost every time. That would be part of the reason why my gains look so big.. :)
  • 8.98% since January 1st - 17.35% so far... now to go for the big 20% weight loss number.
  • I am 4 months in... the front isn't nearly as pretty, but I'm a work in progress.
  • Thought I'd join in on the NROL4W fun.. I'm Ashley and I'm on State 1, Workout B 5 today. Favorite part: My shoulders are getting so much stronger - noticed this when I did a plank for fun the other day. Least favorite part: Step ups! I used to hate lunges... but step ups are like 6 times worse. Anyways, I'm losing some…
  • Work on form - not heavy weights at first. Think about it - do you ever judge other people as they work out? I am usually too busy trying to catch my breath to worry about anyone else - and they are likely the same way. If you really want some help, grab a friend or get a few personal training sessions to help you start.…
  • You look amazing and are incredible! Nothing can stop you!
