Steve Perry.

She did say that this would be her only post under this account, so I assume that means she has another account. OP, thank you for being you and not giving in to what society tells you to be.

Was gonna say Koi, but that's already been mentioned. ETA: Specifically the Lindsay pants.

Personally, I just change my haircolor a lot. My natural color is dirty blond, but it's a boring color.

This sounds like a question for a doctor.

It's good to vent, even if cryptic. Being friends with the OP for some time, I have a good idea what this is about. Find someone to talk to. I know it's hard. Going through similar myself (keeping with the cryptic theme). Someday, things will work themselves out.

IDGAF what others wear at the gym.

This big: Not this big:

At what point would I go to the doctor. That moment before I thought to ask medical advice on MFP. Just go to the doctor. We're random strangers who cannot give medical advice.
-
This exactly. I have tiny baby hands and I've never been able to find weight lifting gloves small enough for my hands. They bunch up and cause more harm than good. A reverse grip is what I use.

If you like them, wear them. Who cares what others think?
-
You'll be fine.

I had this one friend who did this one thing and it totally worked for her. No doctor needed, they're all quacks anyway.

It's one day. One day makes no difference. Splurge.

While doing NROLFW, one of the mistakes I was making because I didn't know better was rounding my back. When you lift, make sure to stick out your chest and keep your back as straight and flat as you can. Also, foot placement is important. The bar should start at the middle of your foot and move up in a straight line and…

Having completed NROLFW myself, I know the book doesn't tell you enough about proper form. Please look up "Mark Rippetoe deadlift form" videos on youtube. This will help you immensely.

I also GOT CONFUSED. By reading this thread. What the what?

I'm just going to repeat the link to my friend's thread up there, you know, for emphasis. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/924179-fat-girl-squatting?hl=Fat+girl+squatting

Cthulhu wedding! That is freaking awesome.

I've been using StrengthCalc Natty to calculate my 5/3/1 workouts. ETA: when I run (which I currently don't), I use the Zombies! Run app and Runkeeper for tracking distance.

this is a very individual question. Due to size and physiological differences, what I burn is likely massively different from what you burn.
-
Don't wait till you've lost weight. Conserve the muscle mass you have now so you don't have to go through the impossible task of regaining it. And I'm not sure what the squat challenge is, but squats are never a bad thing when done properly.

I want a cheese sammich.

I am so incredibly proud of you Sara!

Started using this site for the fitness, stayed for the people.

I always shower after a workout, I don't understand why you wouldn't. What?

I was born with a very rare genetic bone disease called Congenital Multiple Osteochondramotosis or Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (it has 2 names). Basically, I have bone and cartilage tumors on every joint in my body excluding my head. My first orthopedic surgery was when I was 3, my last when I was 28. I lift heavy…

Also, you can try eating more filling satiating meals. Fiber (veggies!) and protein really go a long way to prevent cravings. And give yourself some slack. No-one is perfect 100% of the time. It's okay to eat "bad" or "unhealthy" foods every now and then. For me it's too much pressure when I try to give up the foods I love…
