Eggs are such a staple of my daily diet that I couldn't imagine not eating them regardless of my macro split.

Yup. I've dropped about 20 pounds and have 35 to go. I'm running, shoeshoeing, lifting, and doing yoga. Figure I could spend the last half of my life being athletic and in great shape.

I always thought it was common for breasts to be slightly different sizes. There's one half size difference between mine and no one actually ever notices, not even my husband.
-
Not me. Diet beverages do not make me hungry.

If I'm hungry, then I eat. Maybe you aren't getting satisfied with your meals if you're hungry often. Personally I find protein satiating so my breakfast tends to be protein focused. Which macros do you find satiating?

Running is awesome! I just finished C25K last week. It worked well for me and I'm glad you found something that worked well for you. Can't wait until I can run a marathon.

I still eat chicken wings, cheese, tortilla chips, fast food, and all the yummy things. There's only one food I can't moderate - Chester Cheetos cheese puffs. They are crispy, puffy, cheesy, and then they magically melt in my mouth. Oh the heaven! Nope. Don't buy it. Can't do it. Damn I miss those. I suppose I could buy a…

I really don't worry about my motivation or expect it to carry me through this journey. I focus on habits, mostly. I almost always have a healthy, high protein breakfast. This starts my day in the right direction. I often don't eat a second meal, this saves me calories for the end of the day, when I'm the hungriest. If I…

I like to use mine in place of sour cream. My fav is a baked potato topped with yogurt, salsa, and over easy eggs.

I just spent the last 2.5 months with no period. My diet was pretty standard and I tested negative for pregnancy. So at 49, I think I just got my first experience with peri-menopause.
-
For me it's not about motivation. I know that I like to snack at night, so I save calories for the end of the night. I often eat only 2 meals a day, so that helps. I also try to eat satiating foods, which for me are proteins and fats. If I start the day with a carb heavy meal then I will crave carbs and all foods all day.…

We have a Sonic near our home. I think there's very few restaurants that have such a large offering of sugary beverages. I usually get a diet Dr pepper when I go there. Anyways, just a reminder to count your beverage calories because they can really add up.

I don't really do resolutions, but often set actual goals. Besides some financial goals, as usual, my husband and I made some plans to do some backpacking trips, snowshoe backpacking trips, and tough mudders,

Your meals look fantastic - but definitely not 90% carbs.

I completed my last run on 12/28. It felt great and can't wait to figure out what's next
-
Congrats on getting so far! I just graduated from C25K this week. The last run was surprisingly easy. My lungs felt great, my legs felt like they could run longer. I honestly don't know the why's of it's set-up, but I do know that it works. Don't be afraid of the 20 minutes, you've got this!

Yeah I've been considering it.

Don't eat after 6 pm. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Sauces don't have any calories. My favorite:. Diet soda causes weight gain.

I like my water in the forms of tea, Powerade zero, and diet Dr pepper. When I drink water it's usually with a ton of ice. I no longer force myself to drink tons of water. If my urine is light, then I'm alright. Giggle.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We have also had tragic news in our family which will result in the loss of my grandchild sometime soon. I think weighing and logging our food can give us a sense of control over something in our lives and can be a useful distraction. Anyways, that's how I'm looking at it. And for me, running…

I don't understand the need to kickstart a diet. When I hear this it makes me think people want to try some unsafe or unnecessary weight loss strategy that really only results in water loss, at most. I have also lost 20 pounds a few times and regained it. But that was because I consumed more than I burned and I let old…

I don't see the point of 7 days of torture. I remember attempting a 3 day juice fast so many years ago. At the end of day 2 I caved and ate fast food. I was never so happy to eat a burger. Why not just learn to moderate your eating by eating the amount that mfp recommends? It would be much less torturous.

If I'm gonna drink my calories it better be wine! But no, seriously, I prefer to eat the fruit and not juice at all.

I practice IF at times, especially if I'm having difficulty adhering to my calories or if I have events and want to save calories for them. IF isn't a magical weight loss formula, just an eating schedule. One must still eat less than they burn to lose weight.

We got some devastating news this past week. As much as I love a giant bowl of homemade mashed potatoes, I choose to spend an hour on the treadmill instead. Now I would allow myself those mashed potatoes, but personally there would be rules. Such as the next day I have to be back on track. Lots of us ended up overweight…

I live in a very celebratory family. Holiday times for us means lots of great foods and the alcoholic beverages that often accompany them. In order to really enjoy I am trying to get back on an IF eating schedule, that way I'm saving most of my calories for the evening. I will also be sure to continue exercising this month…

X10 for me would be about 1,950 calories. I have been losing on 1,550. I would still probably lose, but at a much slower rate.
-
Thank you for reminding me about fudgesicles. I forgot that they are yummy and sometimes low cal.
-
I don't count water just watch my pee color.

Me too. I did well with the food last but had too much wine. Can't check my weight cause the scale broke this week. Personally I just get back to my normal calorie deficit and don't worry too much about those fun nights.
