It's all about how you cook them, i recommend braising in tomato puree, garlic and pepper. The trick is figuring how to braise your own elbows ... without elbows. If you are watching your sugar, you could just poach in water w/ some sage, lemon and fresh thyme.

MFP **WAY** overestimates calories burned via exercise in my experience. Do you have a heartrate monitor? Personally, i'm one of the people that doesn't eat back exercise calories (i do eat more on intense workout days, just not as much as MFP seems to think i should).

my diary is open ... i try and maintain around 1500 cals, under 100g carbs, over 100g protein and under 35g sugar. Not always perfect, but i tend to be happy with where i'm at right now. My diet supports my weight-lifting and fitness goals fairly well and takes into account my insulin resistance. Not sure if my egg habit…
