You could get a plain sheet cake and draw some roads on it. Put a pine car on top and the name of the Cub Scout Group!

Congratulations. I have to laugh because I think I have always weighed more than my husband. I am down to 146 now and he is about 148 so I have finally gotten a little bit below him. We have been married 43 years. You look amazing!

I didn't see the photos the first time I replied. You look great (befoire and after the baby) and your baby is beautiful.

Congratulations on the childbirth and maintaning your weight. The most important thing is that you have a healthy baby and a few pounds can come off later.

My doctor recommended it several years ago when I found out I had high blood pressure. I used a different type of diet to lose weight but I think it is a good diet. Congratulations on the weight loss!

The yogurt may be high in sugar too. I asked my nutritionist about the Greek Yogurt, she said it was fine but get the plain not the one that has fruit with it. Even the plain has sugar in it.

I make steel cut oats & quinoa in my rice cooker. Here's the recipe. 1 1/2 measures of steel cut oats 1/2 measure of quinoa 2 1/2 measures of water Put in rice cooker and turn on. I put in plastic container and store. We just scoop out what we want in the morning, warm in microwave for one minute. Add whatever you want. We…

My husband gave me some money for Christmas. I am saving it until I reach my goal (about 11 more pounds). I plan to go shopping and buy some new clothes.

I felt the same way when I started. I was not only eating 1200 calories but I was working out two hours a day and nothing was happening. Finally after a couple of weeks I lost a pound or two and then I have lost a maybe one half pound a week since. I would make sure that you are measuring your food proportions properly as…

I tried spaghetti squash a couple of days ago and used it instead of the noodles. It was very good, my husband liked it and said he was full after eating it. It looks just like the noodles. Less calories, too.

Id be interested to hear what your nutritionist says.

I also make a pumpkin smoothy: same as above except substitute…

Thanks for defining NSV. I have been wondering since I started. I knew it was something to do with a success but couldn't figure out what it could be.

I love it just plain. I break it into pieces, wash them off and stick them in the microwave. My microwave has a vegetable setting, so I just press that and in a few minutes they are ready. My husband and I eat them plain and love them. You could add some shredded cheese if you want. I also saw a recipe for Cauliflower…

I only got half way to my goal of 145, but I am happy that I made it through the holidays without gaining weight! I have to admit that I went off my diet a little, enjoyed a few sweets and missed a few workouts. Still tried to be careful even though I was off of the regular programk. SW 165 GW 140 Final Weight 147. 1/10/13…

I had the same problem when I first started. I had consulted with a nutritionist before I started. I asked her and she suggested that I add either some coconut milk or an egg to my diet. It got better within a few days of starting and I eventually didn't have the dizziness happen.

You don't say how long you have been doing this. I would give it a little time. I am older than you but weighed 165 when I started in August. It has taken me over four months to get to 147. Sometimes it took two or three weeks to get down one pound! You look great and I would say just keep at it, keep doing the workouts…

That looks very delicious! I will save that one for later!

Hi. I went to a nutritionist and she suggested that I add protein powder to get more protein. I have a protein smoothy every morning, try to have protein in my salad for lunch and protein for dinner. I think I get about 110 grams of protein a day (I weigh about 150 now and am trying to lose fat and get down to 140 lbs).…

Hi Christine: My first name is Kathy. Happy to have you as a friend. Plan to stay on here for a while maintaining my weight once I reach my goal. My goal is about 140 pounds which would be 8 more pounds to lose. I live in the Seattle area. Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.

Thank you for the translation! You are close to my weight now. I just hit 148 lbs, was up to 165 when I started 4 months ago. My highest weight was 180. I have exercised for years so have always had alot of muscle, people don't usually think I weigh as much as I do. Would be happy to be a friend to keep each other…

Wow. You look great! So what is the translation in pounds? What was your starting weight and finishing weight? Amazing transformation-- Congratulations!

Hi. I will be happy to be your friend. I have belonged to MFP for several years but just got serious about tracking regularly four months ago. I am 63 years old, with two daughters, five grandchildren and three cats. Would be happy to offer support and any help I can. My husband and I have also been married for 43 years!

I do Yoga once or twice a week and have done it for about 12 years. I also do spinning three or four times a week and weight training 3 to 4 times a week. A year ago I decided to quit Yoga for a while and do more weight training rather than do them both. When I went back to Yoga I could tell how tight my muscles were from…

I started at 150 lbs on Thanksgiving Day which was my lowest weight. Scale has moved very slow but last week I hit 149 and this week I am down to 148. I have followed my diet except a few dinners out which I have tried to just eat small portions. I have kept my workouts the same only missing one day a week. My goal is 145…

I weighed 151 when I started. Was down to 150 on they day after Thanksgiving. Finally I am down to 149 this morning. My goal is 145 by New Years Eve. I have followed the diet, tracked my foods regularly and exercized everyday, usually doing two hour workouts including weights, circuit training, yoga and spinning classes…
