  • I had like a bajillion problems with a PC. Finally decided to get a Mac.... Now I will never go back. (unintended rhyming).
  • I have had an ED and I know what it is like to be unhealthy with food. Please be sure to get all of the information before you judge. This thread wasn't intended to be an insult. More of a friendly reminder that you will still meet your weight loss goals as long as you try your best to make good decisions most of the time.…
  • 1400 should never be maintenance. The average female needs close to 2000. My TDEE is around 2200 and I only work out about 5 days a week. I'm short too, only 5'3" and a 136 pounds. 1400 is my cutting calories level (plus another 400 usually from the exercise calories I eat)... and I'm losing weight just fine (and I must…
  • hahaha thank you. personally, no matter how thin I am, my thighs will touch. not only do I have a lot of muscle in my legs, but my hips are so small they just don't sit far apart enough for my thighs to not touch.
  • I don't want any one else's body. I just have minor issues with mine that I would like to change. I wouldn't trade mine for the world.
  • Mid December 2011, 150 lbs. About one week ago, 136 lbs. Really big but IDK how to change it :grumble: 150--->136. The difference that less than 14 pounds can make
  • ME ME ME! I got my first one for Christmas. I want a clutch now too, and maybe another smaller purse  :drinker: :flowerforyou:

  • Mine does the same thing. The reason I think they are different is because the machine calculates the calories burned based on the resistance and speed while the HRM follows your heart rate and calculates it based on your height, weight and age. The machine doesn't know you height and weight unless you entered that in. I…
  • Machines won't do much for you. Pick up a copy of The New Rules of Lifting for Women.
  • Dang, I need to get my man to take some back/bicep pictures for me
  • You are young which helps a lot. Make sure you drink a lot of water, strength train and go slowly. Genetics plays a huge role. Losing 50 pounds shouldn't be enough to cause sagging skin. If it is, I'm sure being thin is better  At the end of the day, if you have excess skin that you are very unhappy with, they do…
  • 5'3" HW: 150 CW: 136 GW: 120-125 I care about body fat percentage (currently 21.3) and measurements more than my weight. I have a large body frame and people usually think I weigh about 20 pounds less than I do I have a lot of muscle mass! I am a size 2 and would like to be a size 0
  • FITBOOK.... haha one of my friends on here jokingly called it FATBOOK.... I like FITBOOK better :)
  • MFP IS my facebook. And it makes me happier than facebook because people are actually supportive... My boyfriend gets mad at me for being on it all the time :flowerforyou: :drinker: :drinker:
  • I haven't started yet but I'm going to kind of play around with it at first. If it is too light, I will add. I used to lift VERY heavy for a girl. I was one of the strongest girls on my college swim team, I would squat 185 and bench 135, so I know it will be a little demoralizing to see myself lift so much less. I just…
  • I'm starting on Saturday! Add me if you are too  I'd like some friends that are doing the same program at the same time as me!
  • Age 23 Female :blushing: Height: 5'3" CW: 136 GW: 120-125 I care about body fat more than weight. I have a large body frame, people usually think I weigh ~20 pounds less than I do because of my muscles! I'm currently a size 2 and would like to be a 0!
  • lol, me tooooo. either that or the girl that thinks she is fat when she isn't. words can't describe how much I love this. I am seriously going through and placing the people I see everyday at the gym into these categories.
  • SWIMMM!!!!!! I'm a former college swimmer, it is the best exercise ever. You don't need to walk to work out. You can aqua job, take deep water exercise classes, swim laps. The possibilities are endless. You can get a Pool Buoy (foamy thing that you put between your legs) that will support your lower body in the water so…
  • Working out keeps me from feeling all of those effects. I just make sure I drink A LOT of water during that time. Being on The Pill helps a lot with those symptoms for me. I do get very moody and stressed during that time though. But Stress = No Eating for me, which in turn usually makes me lose weight.
  • ...work in progress... I like my booty though, it keeps getting bigger while everything else gets smaller... I'm definitely ok with it
  • You can't really unless you eat the same amount of food everyday and burn the exact same amount of calories everyday. Your macros are set by percentage so the total number of grams will change depending on the amount of food. If you want to change the percentages, you can find it under the goals section
  • You weight will be constantly changing throughout the day. That is why I always weight myself at the same time. I actually threw out my scale because I got sick of being a slave to it. Now I care more about my Body Fat Percentage and my body measurements. I will occasionally weigh myself at the y, but it always at the same…

  • I wasn't trying to be mean to you! I meant "you" as in "men." Maybe not all gyms are like this, and I doubt you are. But there are very few younger women at my gym and the younger men feel the need to say something to any girl that walks into the area. I've had 4 guys ask for my number. There is nothing more…
  • The cravings will go away eventually. I used to crave fast food at first (bojangles was a weakness of mine) but I ate it once and realized my taste had changed. fast food tastes gross to me now
  • Tell all the men over there to stop hitting on us and picking on us. I do not need you to tell me what I should or shouldn't do. If I wanted your opinion, I would ask. I do not go to lift weights just to hand out my phone number either.
  • I look forward to rest day. I kill myself in my workouts, so it is much needed and deserved.
  • B vitamins help with energy. I personally take a daily multivitamin (women's one-a-day active metabolism) just because I have a hard time getting all of my nutrients from food. It has a little caffeine in it as well. If you do choose to take that one, make sure you take it on a full stomach though... you'll be sick if you…

  • Do you have a gym membership? Pick up a copy of The New Rules of Lifting for Women... It's cheaper :)
  • To be honest, your weight is still pretty low for your height. i'm considered normal weight and I weigh more than you AND I'm only 5'3". 125 at your height might actually be considered "underweight." I'm not positive though.
