Based on your diary you are eating way over 50% protein. That is very very high IMO. Too much protein over time can mess up your kidneys. Personally, I put mine to 40carb/30fat/30protein. It has worked very well for me.

Not unless you're lifting. If you're only doing cardio you don't need that much protein. You probably need more carbs TBH. I don't know how you can function on that low amount of carbs and doing cardio at the same time. but since you're trying to lose fat, really look into starting a strength training program.

Rubbish.

I wish i could help. I grew up as an athlete, started competitive swimming at the age of 7 and kept on swimming through college. For me, taking time off of exercise feels weird! Swimming is something I love to do. Competition was fun for me. If you are competitive, maybe try to find a way to make exercise competitive. Set…

My sugar is always over too. I have a banana and an orange and it is shot for the day. I try not to look at it because they are fruit sugars.

This used to happen to me until I changed two things: 1. Got a better pair of shoes (shoes that have better support for my type of foot and running style... see a store that specializes in fitting shoes) 2. Made sure I didn't tie my shoes too tightly.

I usually just wear tight capris when I run. I'm a Nike fan. I can't stand my shorts riding up and my legs rubbing.

apparently she is going for the waif look.

Well, if your goal is to be skinny and not fit, I suggest you stop eating. Your muscle will waste away and you'll be skinny as a rail.

My thoughts exactly.

Scales are incredibly inaccurate at guessing body fat. Mine said I had 35% and my boyfriend had 32% (when in reality I have 21% and he is 10%) Get measured with a body fat caliper. Gyms have them and doctor will as well. I bought one on ebay that works very well for only 20 bucks. Add in some exercise, and more importantly…

you guys make me giggle. I'm trying my best to not laugh out loud in class.

Cardio doesn't help you lose fat. What you eat does. BUT, from your picture, you don't look like you need to be losing much fat anyways. 18% BF is VERY good for a female...

bump, I LOVE mushrooms.

It depends on your height, weight, how hard you work, etc. Get a HRM.

Mine swell in the morning when I wake up. I have read that it is because I basically chug water before bed because it is usually when I'm really thirsty. My guess is you are retaining water.

O my gosh I have this argument with my boyfriend constantly. I work, go to school, do homework, cook dinner, do the laundry, clean the apartment, do the dishes, and have to find time to work out on top of that. He goes to work and comes home and asks what is for dinner. Then plays xbox all night..... GAHHHHHh

But it doesn't. I was an athlete in college. On my team of 50 swimmers, not one was a vegetarian or vegan. Of the other teams that we hung out with, I never met one there either.
-
yes, there are many overweight bodies in the world. when it comes to athletes and those in top physical condition, the list of vegetarians and vegans becomes incredibly thin. reason? it is incredibly difficult and takes an insane amount of dedication to ensure that you are receiving the proper nutrition to feed and grow…
-
I like how we struggle to find good looking vegetarians and vegans, yet walk outside and you'll easily spot a couple hot, awesome bodies that love meat.

Heels are more comfortable than flats, IMO. If I'm going out, I'm most likely in heels

You aren't going to SEE a starving child. It won't be evident in the way they act or look. The fact of the matter is it stunts their capacity to grow and learn and it is a serious problem. I'm not going to even get started on your comment about slaves being the same as animals. The fact of the matter is you keep posting…
-
you are incredibly ignorant. while many children are overweight, many are not. many children go to sleep hungry every night. http://feedingamerica.org/hunger-in-america/hunger-facts/child-hunger-facts.aspx

I eat when I'm hungry. I eat dinner around 8 and usually snack sometime before bed after that. I don't believe in not eating at night.
