  • I don't think blood type has any effect on exercise and sleep cycles.... but yea I'm type O and I work out at a night all the time, no problems here.
  • I'm thinking that falls under the category of non exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) Probably burns just enough calories to bump you out of "sedentary" to "lightly active" if thats how you sit all day.
  • I used 5s. I have a billion JM videos and now I use anywhere from 5-15 pound weights, depending on the exercise.
  • I honestly can't believe that. Eating healthier caused me to SAVE money on groceries. WHAT are you buying? are you making smart decisions? Usually fresh and natural foods are cheaper than the processed junk ones.
  • I'm just sick of people saying she is a role model for being overweight. She eats like crap and smokes. I would prefer someone a little healthier to act as an "curvy" role model. Plus her singing sucks. She sounds like a smoker.
  • I can easily burn 600 calories in an hour or an hour and a half.... but I'm confused why you're trying to burn a lot. it is your net that matters. If you NET your BMR, you should be losing a pound or two a week, depending on your TDEE.... you should NEVER only eat 1200 calories a day and then try to burn a crazy amount.…
  • hahahaha I about freaked out when I saw this last night. I'm totally prepared. BRING IT ONNNNN.
  • Yea, they aren't accurate for weight lifting. And you can't expect to burn much during lifting anyways. I think it depends on how much you exert yourself and how good of shape you are in. If you're in great shape your heart rate will lower faster after exerting yourself.
  • I have the same problem. I honestly feel like I have NOTHING in common with people my age (lower 20s). They are all either pregnant, moms, engaged, married, etc. I just graduated and I'm more focused on having a career and such before I settle down. I mean I have a long term boyfriend but still. It seems like people in…
  • ALMOST 5'4" and I just upped my goal to 124
  • TBH, when I'm out with friends I usually allow myself a indulgence meal.
  • I'm sorry, I think this is a bunch of bull. I mean some of it maybe, but I think it is (mostly) eating more than you put in.
  • I completely agree with this. I don't have a special thing to track it, but the other day I spent a good 4 hours moving and cleaning the pool, and it's deck and furniture (I'm a lifeguard) so that we could be ready for opening. I KNOW I burned more than I would during my normal day with a 30 min run.
  • I'm not incredibly busty. Only a 34 C-D but I LOVE Victoria's Secret Bikinis. They are the best!
  • I LUUUUURV victoria's secret ones. It is all I wear now.
  • I LOVE the white one. then again it is totally my style.
  • Yea, because sacrificing your health in one way to improve another is completely rational and NOT counterproductive.
  • I think so! Just get a strapless bra for it
  • Well, I already have the muscle mass of the second girl. I'm just trying to get rid of the fat on top. I don't need to lift to do that. I think the first girl is hideous, never said I wanted to look like a stick figure. I just look even bigger when I lift because my muscle grows and my fat stays there. Cardio/bodyweight…
  • Mine are 21". I'm 5'4" 130. I would like to lose about an inch on them so that they don't rub as much anymore when I run and such. My legs are straight muscle for the most part so I don't expect to lose much on them. I'd much rather have large thighs than a large stomach!!!
  • I'm only about 5'3.5" and I would like to be 120. I'm more concerned with BF% though and would like that to be 16%. If I'm in the mid 120s and hit that I won't worry about losing more weight. Currently I'm at about 20-21% BF. I've accepted that losing a pound or two of muscle would be okay. Don't judge me, I have huge man…
  • Set your goal to you BMR and net it. I'm assuming you will be exercising so you will be eating more than 1200 calories. Make sure you eat back your exercise calories. If you're worried about skinny fat and ab muscles, I suggest you start weight lifting. You can't spot reduce fat, but a good diet will help. At your height,…
  • am I dumb? I don't get it
  • Not saying I gain faster than a man, but I definitely put on muscle faster than any females I know. I lifted for 3 years in college when I was a competitive swimmer. I was bigger and fatter than I am now (a whole 2-3 pants sizes bigger) and I had a good diet (and worked out a good 4-6 hours a day). Some women simply do…
  • What kind of exercise have you added in? You may be overestimating how many calories you are burning through exercising and therefore eating too much. Invest in a HRM, usually machines and MFP is a good 100-200+ calories off with exercise. If you opened your diary it would be easier to help
  • I eat them all day long OM NOM NOM NOM NOM
  • You probably need to think WHY you are eating all of this food. Try and shift your focus away from losing weight and focus on being healthy. Usually your cravings for junk food diminish after a couple weeks of good clean eating. Eating fresh, natural foods and staying away from junk may be your best option. Sure, you can…
  • free weights work on stabilizing muscles, which you miss with the machines. plus the machines make it so that you can lift much heavier than you normally would be able to. I think some machines are fine, but most aren't. maybe try going to the gym at a different time so you can hang out in the free weights section.
  • I suggest eating fresh natural foods and getting your nutrients that way. It will be cheaper and better for you. And you will lose weight with it. Quick fixes and magical pills are never the answer for long term weight loss and healthy lifestyles. You need to teach yourself how to eat healthy or you will never be able to…

  • I've noticed this too. I mean I will sometimes go out to eat at a family type restaurant and look a little sloppy because I just got off work (I'm a coach and lifeguard) but when I am going to a nice place for dinner, I dress up. I've seen people in dirty old shirts, basketball shorts, hats, dirty sneakers. Some people…
