is this real life?

I have no scientific proof but I think it helps with weight loss. It also helps with the occasional bloat or "irregularity" that I get from eating too much salt or protein. AND I think it helps make my work outs more intense.

I'm 5'4 and my thighs are 21" around the biggest part. I have INCREDIBLY muscular legs though and very little fat on them. I pack my fat on my arms, belly and chest and almost none on my legs. I weigh MUCH more than you at 130, but my BF% is only 20. Personally, I like my bigger legs because it helps balance out and make…

Personally, I only eat half of my exercise calories unless I'm having one of those days that I want to eat everything. Unless you're using a HRM (which isn't always accurate anyways) you may be overestimating how much you burn during exercise.
-
I usually "save" a couple hundred calories for the end of the week because I tend to eat out or indulge a little extra on the weekends. So I say go for it, it has been working for me for the past 4 months.

I like this. However, as an ex competitive swimmer I always find it funny how underrepresented the swimming portion is in triathalons
-
It says my current weight is my happy weight. I'd like to be a little bit lighter though, but it is nice knowing I'm in a good range.
-
Yep, worth it. Personally, I get all kinds of leg pain and feet issues if I don't have the right pair.
-
That doesn't happen.

I met my boyfriend that way... cept, I was nice to him.

Fat actually fills in the lines that causes wrinkles. I really don't see how you can avoid this... While weight loss might play a role in excess skin. I have seen side by side face comparisons of twins (one overweight and one of normal weight). As you would expect, the overweight twin looked younger, simply because of the…

it is hard to help when I can't see your food diary or understand your workout routine.
-
Personally I just try to hit a certain amount of protein and fats, the rest comes from what I want. For me, that is about 120g protein, 45g of fats...the rest is whatever I want, extra carbs, fats and protein is irrelevant as long as I hit the minimum for fats and protein. I just started NROL as well:smile:

Probably water weight. BUT You may be underestimating how much you eat. You may be overestimating your calorie burn during workouts.
-
It is probably due to the high levels of protein. You're going to have to show your body that you can eat more. I know it is kind of weird but try to force yourself to have an extra snack or two throughout the day. Slowly up those calories over time. Your metabolism will adapt and you'll start to hit your goal.] you…

As an ex college swimmer, I would choose running. Swimming is a good exercise but I never had good results trying to lose weight with it. It seemed to keep a layer of fat on me regardless of how I ate or worked. Then again, swimming is easy to me so I have to push myself very very hard to get my heart rate up and get a…

female 23 5'4" 130 20ish% from a caliper and my scale...shooting for about 16% though  I unfortunately gain most of my weight on my belly and arms. which makes my muscles look fat. ready to lose the layer on top so people can see them for what they really are

I have absolutely no idea because I have never had a baby. My guess is it is probably a lot easier if you remain in good physical condition during the pregnancy. Also, a lot of women think they are "eating for two" and go haywire and gain a bunch of weight. It is probably easier if you keep the weight gain to only the…

yep, definitely a factor. like I said in my previous post, this is AT LEAST the *second* time she has posted this topic. you think after she got trashed before she wouldn't post a completely identical topic.

hey, it is better than the 5'8" girl the other day that was 123 pounds and wanted to weigh 110...

Personal opinion: Sugar is worse. Salt has basically no calories and can be flushed out with water. I would rather be over in sodium and under in sugar. I have also found that watching my sugar intake helps with actually losing weight where watching sodium intake only affects my level of bloat and water retention.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE SEEN THIS OP POST THIS THREAD.... it led to about 10 pages of arguments of people saying that her ideal is only obtainable by special genetics or overall fat loss from diet. she did not want to listen to anything that anybody said so I guess she decided to begin the same argument again. troll…

muscles retain water when they are sore, i.e. causing someone to get smaller but weigh heavy still. people don't realize how much water weight messes with the "number on the scale" people seem to think that a four pound gain or something crazy like that is muscle or fat. it is almost always water with maybe 1 pound of it…

I swear they like follow me around. It used to be fun (and I even met my boyfriend that way) but now it just annoys the crap out of me. I just want to work out in peace. PLUS they tend to nag or pick on me and I can't stand that.
-
Why you trying to burn so much? way too much extra food to have to eat. I mean I can understand some high intensity cardio for 30-45 min (but even that you can't burn much more than 300-500 calories) You won't make exceptional cardio gains by overtaxing your body that way. All burning 1000 calories in one work out is going…

a Heart Rate Monitor? maybe a new pair of running/workout shoes? Personally, I'm treating myself to a belly button piercing and finally letting myself buy new clothes when I hit my goal (no sense buying clothes for a body size that is ever changing)

like the little sir mix a lot you threw in there...

Hourglass! WOoooo but I think that I only look like an hourglass from the side. I have a big butt (in a good way) but small hips :( 37-26-37
