I love taking walks, horseback riding when possible, and dancing, so I would do those things regardless. I don't find most other forms of exercise enjoyable. Being inside of a gym is about the last place I want to be.

I think a lot of those comments come from having a skewed sense of health. Since so many people are overweight, our idea of a normal body tends to actually be a slightly overweight body. That's why when we see thinner people who have a healthy bmi, so many people comment that the person looks starved.

You need to be eating more calories since you are on your feet so much. Readjust your activity level to active and get your calorie requirements. Still closed... Anyway, there are a few every month where I don't weigh myself because I naturally retain water at that time. I just keep plugging away and weigh myself when I am no longer bloated. Don't get hung up on a few days. If you make sure to weigh food and log correctly at a deficit you will lose.

I log everything, even a 2 calorie mint. I frequently throughout the day look over my macros to determine what I will eat for the next meal. I always go under my calories unless I've specifically decided not to that day. If you eat less calories than you burn, you WILL lose weight.

I used to frequently bake a batch of a dozen sugar cookies and eat most of them.in one sitting. Ugh. I mourned my Mom by eating cookies and cake.

I'm vegetarian too and am very focused on getting as much protein as I can. I feel an enormous difference when I get a good amount versus when I haven't. I have an open diary so add me if you'd like. I do eat fake meat every day and also lots of the special k stuff that has added protein.

I started around Jan 18th and have lost 30 so far!! I just increased my calories significantly so I'm hoping to lose 1 1/2 pounds per week now for 30 or so more pounds.
