I had my thyroid removed several years ago and am on synthroid also. It sounds like maybe your med levels are not quite right still. OK...I think I screwed that up the first time. I have lost 84 pounds. I try to stay away from junk food, but otherwise eat what I want but stay within my calorie goal. Hit the gym or take a walk. I've had a stressful last few months. The gym has been a lifesaver for me. I also have a couple of friends that I workout with. That helps a lot too. Hope this helps!!

When I'm running I like anything upbeat. Then I challenge myself to get through the song then do the same when the next comes on until I reach the end of my run. :)

Absolutely need music. It keeps me going. When a song starts, I aim to keep going until that song is over...then an new one starts...and I have the same goal. It helps to break up the distance and time. :happy:

I love roasted salted almonds. Don't know how high they really are in protein, but they are fairly healthy.
