I save around 300-500 calories a day for a treat (I eat 2700 calories a day, so that's a reasonable amount for me)..sometimes it is a pastry from the bakery, other times a small bag of chips, a slice of pizza...etc. I pre log my days the night before and ensure it is included in my day. Tuna, eggs and cottage cheese are all really easy ways that I bump up my protein. And chicken doesn't need to be boring...use different cuts, not just the breast. Stirfries, wraps, soups, stews, burritos, salads, sandwiches, curries, tacos, chili...endless combinations.
