  • Brilliant...so far I've lost an average 2 year old! :)
  • I'm starting low carb again also. I'm doing it gradually this time though as I got a little too excited last time and felt horrendous about 3 days in and didn't have the patience to try and ride out the banging headache. However, unlike a lot of low carb-ers I am vegetarian so found it pretty hard going doing it so…
  • Fab post! Trying to get myself out of a plateau right now by upping my exercise and calories! Thanks for this :)
  • Nothing too sweet, just mcvities rich tea biscuit....in moderation! I try to have an apple with peanut butter instead, or hummus and carrot if I want savoury and if I'm at home or prepared it in advance at work. Yes, much more calories and higher in fat but it's because I'm trying to reduce my carb intake!
  • That is just amazing! Well done!! What a journey you've been on, good luck with all the surgery!
  • Fab job, well done!!

  • Incredible, well done you!!!! You look fantastic!
  • I can walk into any store and KNOW they will have something to fit me!
  • Amazing, you look fantastic! Well done!!!! :)
  • I hate fast food joints and chain restaurants usually but recently ate in Uno Chicago grill where I was served a Harvest pizza, with garlic roasted cherry tomatoes, caramelised onions, spinach, broccoli and cheddar and mozzarella on a thin base....it was the finest thing I have tasted in a long time and "I'm only going to…
  • You look amazing!!! Congratulations!!!!
  • If you're following NRoLFW workouts then try going on youtube to check out the exercises before heading down there, that's what I did, and then definitely get one of the trainers at the gym to show you correct form, or you could end up doing yourself some damage. Good luck with it. I'm also starting the NRoLFW workouts…
  • Well done!!! You must be very happy and rightly proud of yourself! A word of advice, you should try some exercise as eventually you'll find you need to step it up a gear to continue losing as it will slow down. Also you'll probably find that you want to as you get lighter. Good luck going forward! :)
  • Big fat zero weight loss again this week :embarassed: Last week: 193lbs This week: 193lbs 0lbs lost
  • Mmm, I'm always on the lookout for something healthy other than a smoothie for breakfast. I think I'll have to try this out! Thanks! :)
  • Wow, you look great, well done!!! :)
  • I don't have gym membership any longer but have a cross trainer at home and, very important for fat loss, a weight bench and dumb bells and bar bell. I got the bench for maybe $150 and the 92kg weight set (with two dumb bell bars and a bar bell) I think that was about $50. I also just bought a swiss ball and a step as I'm…
  • I was losing when I was eating only half my exercise calories back and not when I was eating all of them back.....I found out that the reason for that is that you have to really know exactly how many calories you are burning during your exercise, do not rely solely on the MFP database, or machine for your calories. I was…
  • My goal is to be a UK size 10 by next Christmas! I'm at 16 just now so I don't think it's an unrealistic goal, at all! I want to have minimal fat and plenty of lean muscle mass!!!
  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates. (originally from Scotland)
  • 1. To be more conscious of the food I am eating. Eat cleaner and try to do organic where I can. 2. Do weight training 3 x per week....without fail!!! 3. Do cross trainer 3 x per week (cut down from 5-6) 4. Take my pooch on longer walkies each day! 5. Stop letting people force bad food on me! 6. Spend more time with family…
  • I do 40/30/30 too. You are welcome to look in my diary.....after today, not before!!!!! I'm vegetarian though so it might not be a great deal of interest to you, but you are welcome all the same. I'm also starting NRoLFW. Good luck with it all :)
  • Got it in my stocking this Christmas.....you'll love it, it's worth it!!!
  • Hi all! I got this book from Santa this Christmas and can't wait to start. I workout from home as I'm quite a distance from the nearest gym and have just about everything I need in our home gym now.....just got to get a swiss ball and I can start!!! Very excited. I have modified the lunges due to my dislocating knees and…

  • Thanks all. It was a big disappointment. I never used to eat back all my exercise calories but have done so the last month and a bit and I've barely lost anything. I think I'm going to shake things up in the new year. At least now and I know what I'm really doing! :)
  • Good job!!! We've lost the same amount of weight in almost exactly the same amount of time....spooky!! :) Also, at my absolute heaviest ever, I was the same as your heaviest ever...even more spooky! Good luck with the rest of your journey!!
  • Last week: 194lbs This week: 193lbs 1lb lost!! Didn't weigh in last week as I was so sure I had put on weight...I had 3 1/2 lbs. Must have been TOM water.....again....as today it reads 4 1/2 lbs less!! Yaay!!
  • Wow, you look fantastic!!! Well done!
  • Uuggghh! I started off on here cutting out all sweets and chocolate, apart from one treat at the weekend and it was actually not nearly as hard as I thought.....however, in the last couple of weeks I've lost it and have started eating more sweets than I really want!! I made fudge and scottish tablet for christmas pressies…
  • I feel really sad when I see my nieces and nephews munching on so many sweets. My younger sister is an amazing mother, one of those mothers who was born just to have kids and be an incredible loving person. The only thing that bothers me is that she lets her kids eat whatever they want, not all the time, but a lot of time.…
