I love yoga too. I don't do it as much as I'd like to, but I attribute a lot of my success to yoga. It should definitely be included in everyone's workout week.

Turning 29. I was so disappointed in myself for spending practically my whole 20's overweight and I decided then that I wouldn't do that in my 30's. I lost all my weight by the time I was 31 and then I got pregnant and had my two beautiful kids. Thankfully I didn't gain all my weight back, but I want to get back to where I…

I'll be glad to be friends with anyone who is dedicated. I know I need to stay focused so I need to surround myself with others who are working toward that goal too. It's funny because if I do start eating poorly, I don't see the negative results right away so I think its not so bad, but it eventually catches up with me.…

I use a HRM and create my own exercise to record the burn. I love insanity! Stick with it and it will get better. I was amazed by how much my endurance and stamina increased from doing it. I have done the program twice now and I still do the workouts on a pretty regular basis. I totally agree that you have to do as much as…

Wow! Good for you. You look fantastic!

Ice Cream is my biggest problem. I just end up wanting to eat the whole tub. I don't have control with a box of chocolates either. Thank goodness valentines only comes once a year!
-
I completely agree. I think that when you do lose the weight you will be disappointed that you don't have pictures to show how far you came. Plus, I'm sure your kids would love to have pictures with you. My sister has cancer and my neice recently took down a picture of her from before the cancer, because she said 'that is…

I totally get that tall boot thing. I was thinking about that a few weeks ago, about how I never used to be able to wear them. Keep working at and you'll get there. I'm living proof.

I can't wait for the day when I don't have the muffin top when I put on my jeans.
-
I also tend to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch during the week, but I do change it every week or so. I find it much easier to keep track and for grocery shopping. I have probably 4 different lunches that I rotate out, but I can eat the same thing everyday and it doesn't bother me.

Yes. I get up at 5:00 to workout. I'm wanting to start getting up 15 or so minutes earlier to get a little more of a workout in, but it is pretty hard to get up when I do already.

These are good! I am interested in future posts. Thanks!

I'd like to be an animal in a Disney/Pixar or Dreamworks movie. Or I guess I could be a person, I'm sure that would be fun too. I would just leave it to the professionals to fit my voice to the right character. I would want to do kids shows - no adult cartoons.
-
I've always wanted to be the voice of a cartoon character.

No, I followed the calendar and did the order of the workouts. The creators knew what they were doing. I've never been able to workout that hard without getting so sore I can barely move for 4 days straight. With Insanity I definitely feel my muscles and REALLY feel the burn on the Recovery workout, but not overly sore.

I completely agree with this. I am still doing it even though I completed it. I am just not where I want to be yet. I didn't follow the nutrition plan, but I wish I had. I feel like my results would have been a whole lot better. As it is I lost about 13 pounds and 5.5 inches from my belly and 5.5 inches from my hips. I…

I'm in. I've been loving to see my improvement and of course the changes in my body. Start Date: 3/5/12 Projected End: Finished, but still going Following Nutrition Guide: didn't at first, but now I am focusing on keeping my diet at 40% protien, 40% carb, 20% fat Starting weight(with Insanity): 173 Goal Weight(hoping to…

I admit, I have been bad about not logging my food. I wish MPF had more incentive for doing it. You get props for logging in for every 5 days in a row, but you don't get it for logging your food. I know its only yourself you are hurting by not doing it, but I still think it would be nice to get the props deserved for doing…

I just started the second month of Insanity this week. Its going to kick my butt, but I'm looking forward to my awesome new body!! I had a feeling I didn't do enough pushups in the first month. They make up for it in month two!

I'd like to join. SW 172 CW 172 GW 150

WOW!! You really look awesome. If I saw you on the street I wouldn't think you've been overweight a day in your life!
-
I completly agree with this. I've been there too, excuse after excuse. And I've been noticing the excused have been trying to come back in my mind lately too. Weight loss is a serious mental game as much as it is physical. You have to really, truly decide to do it; and do if for yourself! Good for you for losing 60 lbs.…

My kids aren't quite old enough (1 & 3) for school and activties yet and I am barely able to keep up now. My husband doesn't do much to help with the kids and I work full time, so I totally understand! My house is a wreck. I need a bubble bath and a massage.
-
You have my deepest sympathies for the loss of your brother. This is a truely inspirational story. It is awesome that he didn't quit and that he didn't let someone tell him he couldn't do it.
-
You are welcome to add me as a friend! I have a 10 month old girl and a 2 3/4 year old boy. I work full time. It is a challenge, but not impossible for sure!
-
Any of you can add me as a friend too! I have an almost 3 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. I have a hard time finding time to exercise. I go to the gym during lunch. I wish I could get up early in the morning to workout, but I don't get enough sleep as it is. Every time I try to do situps or pushups they come over and…

I haven't done a challenge yet, but I think this is interesting. I think it may be just what I need. I'll do it!
