Shows in my face & chest (didn't have any to spare to begin with, oh well ! Better fit than booby, I say !) first, then gradually moves it's way down.

I log daily on MFP, feel free to add me :) I also log daily on Fitbit so if you're on there & need a friend, I can be found @ https://www.fitbit.com/user/2FPG5F Cheers, Nat

Hey ! Been riding 22 years now ! Since moving to Australia 2.5 years ago, it's how I go to work 365 days a year ---> No SNOW (I do not own a car) Cheers, Nat

Love it ! Thanks for keeping it real

Average about 20,000 steps a day (between every day life, work & gym). Feel free to add me as well :-) I'm @ ---> https://www.fitbit.com/user/2FPG5F Cheers, Nat

You sure don't look bulky on your profile pic, thanks for the reassurance :)

Oh WOW, what a FABULOUS job you've done ! I too am at the "skinny fat" crossroads (loose skin where excess fat used to live, weak arms, legs and mid-section). Recently joined a Les Mills Body Pump class & absolutely love the workout I get from it. I'd like to do more than just this specific class (once a week) to gain some…

Absolutely FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep putting on them walking shoes, it WORKS ! Cheers, Signed --> Another 5'2"er :)

Yep, that's what I figured out after a couple of runs on it ! Now, I'm just happy to be able to do 30 minutes "almost full-on" or 60 minutes "half-throttle"...it's more cardio than I've EVER done and I enjoy it

CAP'N CRUNCH (original peanut butter) <Now there's a scary thought

You are indeed correct ! Logging made me aware of exactly "what & how much" I ingested on a daily basis. Doing so also allowed me to make some little changes and some more dramatic changes to my diet and exercise routine, keeping it interesting ! It IS a marathon, a lifestyle change for the better !

Will be switching to maintenance mode shortly & was wondering how to go about it...sounds like a reasonable plan to me, thank you
-
Reckon I shall give that a go (entering my non-step based activities via Fitbit instead of MFP), see what happens ! Thanks for the tip!
-
I've had the same set-up for a week now and it's been great ! Just be sure to only enter your food & exercise in MFP (not Fitbit) and everything will transfer itself. A note about logging exercise in MFP ---> only log exercise activities that are not "step" driven (ex: strength training, elliptical trainer, cycling, yoga,…

My nights are generally 5 to 6 hours of sleep, natural rise & shine time being between 4:00 and 5:00am (sometimes as early as 3:00am, which makes for an incredibly looooooooooong day) any day of the week. It's been like this a couple of years now, don't even remember what "sleeping in" is :ohwell:

Same goes on in my household ! Hubby's a big boy who really could afford to shed some 30-40 pounds but he is an adult and is the "master of his domain" as far as food & exercise goes. I do not cook separate dinners for him and I, I just control my portions for that meal. I however have free rein on what I have for brekkie,…

Just a few short months ago, I would break out in hives (figuratively speaking, of course) just hearing the word "exercise" :noway: Had been toying with the idea of attending a yoga class as an outlet to reduce work related stress (and maybe work on them extremely stiff limbs of mine --> BONUS!) and finally put my money…

Coffee and chocolate are my biggest vices, followed closely by the D.A.D. (Daily Adult Drink) ! Fortunately, I don't do fancy coffees (black or with a splash of low fat milk does the trick for me) so at least I'm not tipping the sugar scale on that one. Chocolate however is a different story...definitely tipping the sugar…

Morning all, Started MFP a little over a month ago and I must say it was quite an eye opener ! Hard to believe the amount of fat & sugar hidden in what I perceived as "healthy" foods :-( I've done a fair bit of tweaking to my diet since joining but it's a work in progress, will need to keep fine tuning it over time. My…
