I also have a 10km race coming up this Sunday. My last long run was Saturday and I've been running 3 to 4 miles every other day since but @ an easy pace ! Will be taking Saturday off so I'm fresh and rested Sunday :-)

Nope, don't believe in "cheat days" as I am not on a "diet" ! Took me a while to understand losing weight and keeping it off was more a matter of lifestyle than being on a "diet". Counting calories allows me to keep an eye on CICO and if I fancy a burger & fries, I have a burger & fries, no food groups/type of foods…

Currently training for a 10K and I use the "My ASICS" training plan ---> http://www.asics.com.au/about-myasics . You can choose a half-marathon plan if you so wish and you decide how many times/week you want to train.
