This is my #1 issue ! I eat well for brekkie/lunch/dinner...and then the evening munchies rear their ugly head and wreck the whole day :s Really need to make a conscious effort to NOT give in to comfort/boredom evening munching.

Don't really think about "the girls" really, it hasn't been something that's caused me to grieve. Have they shrunk with the weight loss ? Of course! Even if I couldn't really afford to lose much in that area (fat IS fat, we don't get to choose where it comes off !). At the end of the day, I'm happy being healthy and a…

I'm 5'2" and weigh in @ 106 lbs (lower end of the "healthy" weight range, I also have a small frame) so I'd say your estimate isn't unreasonable. Cheers, Nat

Really proud of you too Missy, for the same 2 reasons you mentioned: 1- You asked for help ---> Sometimes, we think that since we got ourselves into this mess than we certainly should be able to get ourselves out of it...not necessarily so, as evidenced by the heaps of people on MFP  2- You haven't giving up, you…

I go to the gym fairly early every day and I never leave before having a large bowl of oatmeal (50g of rolled oats cooked in 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup water), topped with a sliced banana + 1/2 apple. Gives me lots of energy without feeling overly full & sluggish ! Cheers, Nat

My thoughts exactly, thanks for posting :flowerforyou:

Hi ! I may be at the other end of the world (literally) but still French Canadian, so feel free to add me  Nat

Lost a band size & a cup size...didn't have heaps to begin with really (even less now) but it's pretty much all in relative proportion

Wouldn't call it a "body flaw" per say but ---> Being short...would love to be just a smidgen taller (got turned away from the police academy in the 80's because I was 2 inches too short, needed to be 5'4")

Greatest fitness improvement ---> Going from no (zero, ziltch, nada, niet...) exercise at all to a regular schedule and actually enjoying every minute of it
-
Pretty much the same here ! I'm 5'2" - 108 lbs, also @ maintenance & slowly (but surely...) working up the nerve to actually walk into the weight room instead of just skirting it ;-)

"skinny-fat" essentially means being slim/skinny with no muscle tone/strength

I started my journey with the 5:2 diet last November ---> http://thefastdiet.co.uk/ It was an interesting, positive experience for me personally for the 3 months I was on it (lost 13 pounds) ! I did however switch to MFP in January because I had reached a plateau & needed something a tad more controlled to get the last 9…

True for "some" but unfortunately, for many others (as seen on a regular basis in forum postings), it can be an unhealthy fixation/obsession.

Put your earbuds on, hit "PLAY" on your MP3 player & do your thing ! An example --> I wear crappy old track pants & tees for my workouts...don't give a rat's a** about the fashion trend at the gym and the looks I get, I'm there for ME and ME only :) Don't let naysayers get the best of you, just get in your "zone" and give…
