I'm reading Lulu In Marrakesh, by Diane Johnson. Sophisticated chick lit. ;-)

I second mustard. Dijon, or any coarse and spicy mustard. Salt, pepper and dill.

Me too. I plan to check all of the chains around me and see if they offer that. I may just stick with those places.

I love avocados, too. AND they are wonderful for your skin and hair! I just use avocados as my main fat. I spread it on toast instead of butter, I use guacamole in tuna salad instead of mayo, and i use avocado oil on salads with lemon juice for dressing. As long as you measure it and count it, seems like it should be fine.

Have you tried making soup? There are a ton of low cal, low sodium recipes on the internet. I make a big pot of soup on Sunday and eat it all week, before dinner, for a snack, for breakfast sometimes. It's tasty and warm and really filling.

I hear you! I have a desk job, 1.5 hour ride on a commuter bus (each way), I am just starting out and I have twice as much to lose as you do. I just bought a bike to exercise at home. I'm just starting also.

green pepper strips with guacamole - You can get guacamole in 90 cal packets. I also measure out almonds.
