Aw, thank you! Unfortunately(?), I have excellent posture. It was emphasized in my household growing up, and I have received many compliments on how I carry myself, so I am sure it is not that.

If you don't mind a vegan, sign me up!

^I thought about that! Many of my friends are vegetarian, so I feel like they would not be very bothered. I actually planned to keep this to myself, just kind of... quietly transition. I can bring my own food, or claim a stomach ache. As far as restaurants, I am in a huge vegan/veggie/juicebar/etc hub. Lots of atlernative…

Hi, thanks for commenting! While do do relish the challenge to make myself a healthier person (I'm just like that), I am also uncomfortable with the industrialized meat/dairy farming industry as a whole. It's sickening on a moral and physical level, and current practice is totally unsustainable unless we decide to make a…

Hey, this happens to me too. For me, it ended up being that my core muscles were weak and flabby. Once I built stronger abs, the bloat dramatically decreased. That + staying constantly hydrated changed me for a whole year, I actually wore a bellyshirt in public! I'm flabby again, but I'm hitting the gym once more. I really…

...I am up to 138lbs already?! JEEZ. I am absolutely down for this challenge. The first things that have to change are my eating habits, then I can follow up with getting more active. I am feeling 4 workouts per week, mixed cardio and weights. SW: 138lbs (UGH) GW: 134lbs Dec 03: 138lbs Dec 10: Dec 17: Dec 24: Dec 31:

ABSOLUTELY. There is lag, especially in the weigh around your face. you'll take a selfie ina few weeks and be shocked at how good you look.

Definitely seek medical help, this can be an indicator of some really nasty upcoming medical issues.

I feel you, I also have a July wedding...I think I am gonna wait until January to begin my quest.

Idgaf if it fits into my calorie budget

Dude I eat constantly, I have just replaced my snacks with nuts and fruit. Especially pine nuts. They are pricey, but very filling (they actually have a very unique fatty acid that suppresses hunger, which helps to curb the habit).

Water weight scales are kind of dubious (as in witchcraft). I have never seen one that worked, so I assume you are just retaining water from the sodium in the alfredo. Also, since you worked so hard, your muscles are probably asking your body to retain even more water to help heal.

I am a 32G, Nordstrom has a pretty good selection in-store, but I normally buy my bras from websites like Herrom.com, biggerbras.com, figleaves.com, or barenecessities.com. They also sell swimsuits by bra size with underwires for support.

Music to my ears, man. My dad was a huge stickler about this same thing. Whenever my sister and I were whining about not wanting to do things when we were young, he would get this huge fake grin and say, "Girls, I have some great news- you don't have to want to do something in order to get it done! You can just do it…

I will try my best! First off, there is a lot of help on this website, but if anything ever sounds fishy to you, please ask your doctor. Many people here are very informed and well-meaning, but none of them know your personal medical details. In this case, the first bit I have quoted suggest that you may struggle with low…

How's your water intake? Sodium can make you bloat and retain water weight if you don't flush it out of your system by chugging water.

Nice, happy hunting!

I would assume that a proper "dose" would depend on your body stats (weight, height, etc) like any other chemical, but I would say that I am eating less than an ounce of pine nuts per day in with my other assorted seeds/nuts/berries and am happily maintaining a meal plan of 1300cals a day (I am 5'9" and 1323lbs).

Hmm, if you are 210lbs and female, I am assuming you wanna lose at least 50lbs. Is that right? Feel free to correct me, as I do not know your medical condition, bodytype, or height. First off, congrats on being here in the first place! This is the first step, and asking for help puts you ahead of the game. There is a lot…

24 and looking to lose 8lbs, hit me up.
-
It depends on your goals, honestly. If you are trying to lose a large amount of weight, you do not need to track yourself more than once per week to ensure that you are moving in the right direction because your body sheds weight quickly when it has a lot to lose. If you are working to lose a smaller amount of weight, aka…

Office worker here, I feel your pain. It's a minefield. If you are ever surprised by someone springing treats on you, tell them, "ooh, I would but I'm SO FULL, I just ate (insert junk food here)." If you tell them you had a salad, they'll get on your case. but magically no one cares what you're eating so long as it's not a…

I would go on amazon and look up customer reviews to get an idea of what kind of bugs you may run into.

Sure thing!

Yes, I am flexing like a mother in my profile pic. When I relax, I have a big lump. It's very frustrating, I made that picture my profile in hopes that I would one day look like that while relaxing.

MisFit is fantastic for both pricing and waterproofing, the fitbit surge is like $250 right now. Polar also specializes in waterproofing, but is less "basic" and has more features depending on the model.
-
What kinds of features are you looking for, what is important to you? I ended up with a Polar a300 because I wanted a chest-strap heart monitor and I needed my fitness tracker to be waterproof for swimming (warning: fitbits are not waterproof).
