Sorry I didn't post yesterday. My computer was fried so I did all of my entries on my phone. I'm on my husband's pc now but mine should be fixed today. Fixing computers is actually the business we own, but I always seem to be the bottom of the food chain. :noway: 100 jumping jacks done 11 glasses of water down Great work…

I was 1 and he was 3. We met over a sandbox. I'm now 39 and we're living happily ever after. Our 21st anniversary is next week. His sister says we started taking baths together and just never stopped. :blushing:

I've been running for about six years and it does get easier. When I first started someone told me that the first three miles is the hardest. I didn't know they meant EVERY time. :noway: Now, once I make it past that three mile mark, it's much easier. I won't say I've ever developed a love for running, but I do enjoy it…

In California and Tennessee it is a crime to shoot any kind of animal from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale.

Hey everyone! I'm Rebecca and I'm so excited to be part of this team!! I'm 39 and have two boys, 18 and 16. I've been married for 21 years (yes I started young but I've know my husband for 37 of my 39). I turn 40 over Labor Day weekend and I'm running the Disney 1/2 to celebrate. I'd love to get a few more pounds off so my…

I'm reading all of these posts and I feel like such a slacker! I'm at 84.6 as of today and have a group ride of about 25 miles scheduled for Wednesday night so I'll make my 100 mile goal this month with a few miles to spare. Maybe I'll shoot a litle higher next month.

Great job! You must be working hard to lose that much body fat. Smile and have a GREAT day!!
-
Way to go! I'm so with you there. My birthday is coming up and I asked for aerobars for my bike so I can totally relate.
-
I'm in again. Goal is 100.

Bump. Thanks for sharing!

Yay you!!!

So funny you should post this. Yesterday my husband and I went for a walk and I was complaining about my boobs getting smaller. His reply was, "yeah, but so's your butt". That's good...I think...?

I agree with this guy. If you wait until you're no longer sore, you'll lose the benefit. Get out today and do something, even if it's a lite workout. You'll feel better for it. AFTER your body has warmed up, be sure to stretch out those muscles.

This is great! There are many more people this time around. I'm in again. I'm only going for 100 since I can't get on my bike for another week or so yet.
-
This stinks. I set a goal of 100 miles on my bike for May and I pulled my neck out the last week so I only made 92 miles. I haven't been able to left my head high enough to see what's in front of me when I ride so I thought it best not to... So I'll set the same goal for June.

If you're a dork, I guess that makes me a dork too! I celebrate each pound lost and do my happy dance.

Every time I tell my mom I'm going for a run, I went for a run, I registered for a race, etc, she tells me I should walk so my uterus doesn't drop to my knees. Really? Funny thing is she never mentions injury to my knees....

It really depends on your feet. I prefer Brooks or Saucony.

What she said... I usually try to run a few miles on Tuesdays and Thursdays then do a long run on Saturday. I can't stress enough that you need to increase your distance gradually. It would really stink to injure yourself while you're training for an event.

I had vodka with diet cranberry and a splash of diet 7 UP. It was pretty good.
