How did your recipe turn out? Would you share

This. Is. Me. I'm sitting here telling myself everything that you've said. It's time for me to get serious and I needed a little motivation - a sign if you will. When I read my name (your name) at the bottom, I knew it was my sign. Thank you for posting. ~Rebecca

Mine is 2486. I just had it checked last week and they gave me the breakdown of what I need to eat to lose the weight. Where did you have yours done? Did they give you the rest of the information? Basically that is the number your body burns on any given day - accounting for moderate movement >household chores, carpool,…

I have Kaiser. My insurance didn't cover it, but it was only $50. Any follow up testing is $30. Those rates are for Kaiser members, but they will still do it for you if you don't have Kaiser and it would be $75.

They hold up pretty well. I just put them in a ziploc and put them in my bento box if I'm on the bike. As for running, the girl I run with wears a Camelback and we stick them in there. I've never had them crumble up.

These are great. I'm new to the whole "clean eating" thing so I'm not sure if this fits, but they're healthy and not processed. Below is the recipe, or this is the link. http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/no-bake-energy-bites/ if you want to see it directly. I've used these on long runs and they work great. I also recommend salt…

bump... My mom makes the filling for a pumpkin pie and cooks it in the crock pot. Great pie, no crust.

I set a new PR in a 10k yesterday!! Not moving too well today, a little on the slow side, but it was worth it.

There is a book called Slow Fat Triathlete by Jane Williams. I read it when I first started doing triathlons. Pretty funny and still very informative.

I took up running almost seven years ago. The first six years were utter misery...that was a full marathon and about seven half marathons. I hated every step I took, but I did it. I signed up with a new runnng group in January of last year. They make it fun and it's more of a social atmosphere. I still run when I'm not…

I haven't given up fast food completely, but in order to get it, I make myself go in. NO DRIVE THRU. If I make a little more difficult to get, I usually just go home and make something. I would have to say I make the effort to go in and get about once or twice a month. Not too bad, all things considered.

Thanks for the info!

So I had a fun weekend and I ate pretty much anything that wasn't moving. Back on track this morning! My weigh in this morning was 179.4. Have a great week everyone!

Hi there! I did all of my challenges except Thursday. I completed all three of my pledges and a little extrra on the mileage. I was over on water every day but also over on calories on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weigh in this morning was 179.4.

Hello everyone! Just a recap of my week so far because I haven't posted it all for you. I'm done with my pledged crunches, and jumping jacks. I've done 8 of my 10 miles. I'll do the last two tomorrow. I've been below calories and over on water every day this week. I did the challenges for every day except yesterday. It was…

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you all have something amazing planned for the weekend. My son plays football for his high school and our first game is tonight. Those snack bars just kill me...but I pledge to be strong... at least strong enough not to go over on calories. So my weight has been STALLED for a while. I have…

Wow! This is going to be a tough week....but we CAN do it! I pledge 200 jumping jacks, 200 crunches and 10 miles!

Happy Monday everyone! I was over calories yesterday by only 46 but I drank all of my water. I weighed in yesterday morning at 181.1 to see how my week was going and then stood on those rotten scales again this morning at 183.4. It must be water weight because my rings usually slide on and off fairly easy and they won't…

Happy Monday everyone! I weighed in yesterday morning at 181.1 to see how my week was going and then stood on those rotten scales again this morning at 183.4. Can't get my rings off this morning and they usually slide on and off fairly easy so I think it's water weight. That just stinks, but it will look good for niext…

Saturday was all good. Lots of water, under calories, and challenge done. Finished my pledged crunches this morning. I'm drinking loads of water today in hopes of a good weigh in tomorrow morning.
-
I met all of Thursday's goals.
-
Water in. Under calories. Challenge done. 70 extra crunches towards my 400.
-
Tuesday... Water in. Under calories. 70 crunches towards my total. Didn't get the run in, but finished the rest of the challenge.

Some people just feel better with make up. But the people who wait for a parking space right next to the door make me laugh. Really? At the gym? Aren't we there to exercise?

Congrats on the weight loss! You look so amazing! I'm another curly girl and my hair looks very much like yours only darker. Be VERY careful if you go for layers. I'm sure you know that the shorter it is, the curlier it is because of the spring factor. If you have several layers, your hair will look funny. Curly up towards…

Monday...over water, under calories, challenge done (OMG) and 75 crunches towards my 400.
