Awesome! I was just wondering what I could do with my tofu tonight :D.

I definitely lost more eating more calories! Stats: 5'7", 30yo female, medium frame, 130 pounds I started out at 1200 calories a day and did that for about 2 months without any real results (lost maybe a pound). After those two months, I upped my calories to about 1400-1500 a day and started walking about a mile or so…

Love it!

I have to say that my biggest pet peeve is people who are "using" a weight machine by sitting on the seat and having a 15 minute conversation on their cell phones with someone. I totally understand if you need to take a phone call, but please don't tie up a machine if you are going to be on the phone for more than 5…

Well, I am very lucky and have what you might describe as a "mesomorph" type body. (For those of you unfamiliar with that classification: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somatotype_and_constitutional_psychology) So I can lose weight pretty quickly by watching calories alone. To lose, I ate about 1400-1500 calories (tried 1200…

HAHA! Dust and hope! Amazing. To OP-I have trouble now, too! Especially since I started working out. I have tried to loosen my obsession over the macros (going over on protein, carbs, sugar etc.) a little bit because I found that I would get trapped by those numbers an felt like I couldn't eat anything because it would…

Hello There! I am 5' 7", medium sized frame, 30yo and I started at about 150/155 and got down to 125. At that weight, a lot of people said it looked way too thin and I agreed after staying that weight for a month or so. I got back up to 130 and now I am just toning. :). See what works for you and where you feel healthiest.…

Absolutely! This is actually the primary reason that I work out. It definitely helps ease stress and keep my depression in check. It's the best way to kick off my day :).

Hello There! I am 5'7" and I weigh 130 but I am a 6-8 in jeans and usually a Medium in tops :). I have a medium sized, hour glass frame. It is always interesting to see how varied sizes can be, even when two people are the same weight!

I completely agree with DL. I will say that a cheat day isn't for everyone, but I find that it helps with my cravings, keeps be from being too obsessive and just all around makes me feel like I am still living my life and not constantly on a diet :).

Loved reading this story and I think the advice is perfect : )

WOOT!

I do morning workouts for the EXACT same reason! :D I am not really a morning person, but if I don't do it RIGHT after I wake up, the chances of actually completing a work out that day drop significantly. : )

Hello there! Sorry to hear about your allergy : /. I was a vegetarian for about five years and my S.O. is currently one : ). Hmmmm tips...make sure that you are getting enough iron and protein! Protein can come from multiple sources (tofu, beans etc.) so make sure that you are incorporating a little bit here and there into…

Completely agree with this. I don't see why you have to suddenly pick up cooking. Also, I am not sure why people are suggesting that you just "split the duty." If you don't enjoy cooking and it has never been agreed upon nor the arrangement before, I am not sure why it suddenly has to become the norm. I am totally for…

I have to say, I felt a little weird about turning 30 last year but I am enjoying my 30s MUCH MORE than I ever enjoyed my 20s. I think it has to do with really feeling stable. I know exactly who I am, what I want to do and where I want to be. You really stop caring about what other people think and embrace life. Oh, and…

I usually work out at the gym but my Mom works out at home and when she is doing floor exercises, my Shiba will constantly walk over and tap her with a dainty, little paw to make sure she is "ok." :)

I go to the gym M, W, F mornings at about 8:00am. I do about an hour with 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes of weights. I try to walk the dog for about 20-30 minutes a day and on the weekends, I walk as much as I can :).

SW: 150 CW/GW: 128-130 Height is 5'7" and I have a medium frame (narrow waist, larger hips). Now I am just working on toning :). I got down to about 125, but I wasn't "fit" or working out and I looked too skinny. So I gained a bit of weight and have been going to the gym to tone up. Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much…

I definitely think so! I have mild depression and OCD and it really helps alleviate that stress. :)

[/quote] I'm not a medical expert, but perhaps he's in denial about his own problems, and therefore is trying to shift any attention from his problems to yours. His behaviour is obviously unacceptable, but I think it would help if he was made to realise that he too has problems and needs to be doing what you are doing,…

Fajitas are usually are good bet! You can skip the tortillas get extra veggies and you can usually swap out rice and beans for a salad :).

Agreed!

OooOOOooOoOO looks tasty!

Yep! Same here :D. It took me off guard the first couple times and now I really only need one/two drinks for an entire evening. It's nice being a cheap date!
