I love Zumba. I haven't been able to take the class in a while due to my schedule change but hope to get back into it. I introduced my work husband to it about three years ago and he has lost so much weight and LOVES IT! I'm trying to convince him to start teaching a class in our office when we move.

Not sure where you live but you can check Walmart, Target, Best Buy. I found a somewhat decent one for about $25. It's not very accurate but it helps. Also try Ebay, Amazon, craigs list and freecycle (yahoo group). I'm sure you will find something inexpensive it just may take a little hunting.

I tell my boys all the time that the finish line is more important than the starting block. You can do this!! We have all been in shoes where we start again. Take one day at a time and you will reach your goals. Feel free to add me as well.

My second son was not planned. I was on the pill but still conceived. I was in great shape and talking to an Air Force Reserve recruiter to sign up. I gained maybe 5-10lbs. I lost 13lbs during the first 2 trimesters because I couldn't keep anything down. I would be sick looking at or smelling many foods especially meat and…

When dining out I usually stick to lean meats, seafood, salads but not always. I ask for a to-go container when I order my meal. When the meal arrives put half away and eat the other half. You can also share the meal/dessert with someone. Family dinners try to load up on crudites, veggie dishes or bring a dish you know you…

I started today and so far I like it. I wanted to ramp up my workouts and decided to add this one in rotation along with my other activities. I will say my legs are definitely feeling the burn already which is a good thing.

Start P90X with the Tuesday workout. You could also double up your day to catch up but I think you guys will be fine with missing today.

I don't always have time or the appetite for a cooked breakfast and will make a smoothie instead. I like making my own because I control the ingredients. Here is one I make regularly: banana, strawberry, blueberry, psyllium (sp) husk, barley grass powder, whey isolate protein or hemp protein, almond milk, and ice. I'm…

I gave up all sweets, fried foods and soda for lent so PMS time is particularly challenging. I satisfy that craving with a salad with tons of spinach, avocado and craisins or I will make a green tea smoothie. When I gave in to my cravings I went overboard and gained more than just water weight and I don't want to keep…
