I would strongly suggest some counseling for yourself and then you an your husband. This happens in many marriages when one person has any major change in their life. This is not a healthy mindset for either of you, especially wih 2 young kids at home. Stick with MFP and seek some counseling and you CAN DO THIS!!!

I don't count calories but I do count sugars. I limit myself to 15grams of sugar a day and that is good sugars found in broccoli, lentils etc. I found that if you count sugars everything falls into line. I did calorie counting but even doing just that I was having 50-70 grams of sugar a day which is way too much. What ever…

Do you look at your sugar intake as well? I started counting my sugars and carbs only and am back on a losing streak again. I stay under 15 grams of sugar a day and less than 130 carbs. I try to eat on a saucer and the portions that fit on the saucer are really about what you should be eating. Just eat 5 times a day thats what I have learned is helping with the metabolism.
