I would just go with it. There are some days I have over 1000 calories left with exercise. I say if you are hungry eat, if not then don't. I can only do this a couple of days and then have to re-feed myself. I don't think having 1 or 2 days over 1000 calories left will do any harm, but this is just my opinion.

I have hashimoto's too, however my thyroid numbers TSH, T3, T4 are in the normal range without medication. They found mine by testing my antibodies. My antibodies were through the roof. I love mine, the only thing I hate is that it doesn't measure (or very little) your exercise if you are on a bike or elliptical. I have thought about putting mine on my leg somewhere to see if it would measure better when I am on the elliptical.

I got the Bodymedia fit (link) for Christmas. It syncs with my iphone, even though it doesn't sync sleep, you have to sync it with your computer to get that information. Down 3 lbs this week. I quit strength training (long story) right before Christmas and since I have been doing more cardio I am seeing spikes in my weight loss. For example last week only down .8 lbs, this week down 3 lbs. Not sure what is causing it as I am eating about the same amount of calories. Any thoughts?

I use MFP maintenance, you could try to use this instead of calculating what it should be based on your BMR. What is the difference in numbers if you switch to maintenance?

I have a bodymedia fit band I wear 23 hours a day. I burn 500-800 calories while sleeping. 2000 calories burned would probably be your total for the day.

You can do it....I was 200 before going on vacation, 202 when I got back (yes didn't track or exercise), but within a couple of days dropped to 197....couldn't believe it. It seemed like it took me forever to go from 210-200... Keep up the awesome work!

Are you using a HRM to calculate your calories burned? My only suggestion is to cut back on exercise (from looking at your diary). You may need to give you body a little more rest.
