I hope this last
Well I think I may have busted through. After 4 months of trying to figure out how to break the plateau (lasting 5 months), the scale is shifting down (at least for now). Every week I was trying to make adjustments, eat more, exercise more, eat less, exercise less. In the mean time of not losing on the scale, I was losing…

? about weight gain while lifting
Just curious about weight gain while lifting. How much can you gain in water weight from day to day? For example eating at a deficit most of the week. Did two training sessions on Tues and Wednesday and up today by 2 lbs? Is this pretty normal especially if you don't have a rest day. Tuesday was like a work out of the day…

Something trainer wants me to try...thoughts?
Trainer wants me to start cycling calories 2 days at 1558 and 2 days 1841. Switch back and forth. I hope I can do this. Today I am starting with 1841. I am pretty sure I can handle the 1800, but I don't know about dropping back down to 1500. She also wants me to drop my carb intake below 100g a day. She wants me to try…

For all newbies starting your journey
This video motivates me. Every time I listen to the words, I know I can do this. If you want it you NEED to work for it! All you have to do is PUSH yourself, do it for you and no one else. If you want to give up, DON'T. Take each day of your journey day by day. If you screw up one day, don't worry about it, just get back…

Strength Training vs Circuit
Not sure if this is the place to post this, but maybe someone can give me a clear answer. Since I have started working with a personal trainer I have added it to MFP under Strength Training. Last night I was looking at Circuit training and it gave me 200+ more calories that I would burn in a 30 minute workout. So which one…

Been here for awhile, just my first post
Been on MFP since March 2011, first just tracking what I ate on a daily basis....didn't get serious until mid-April. Now I am on track. Still have lots to lose.
