  • I looked back several days and you hit your calories every day. Did you set the 1200 or did the system? Medication and certain ailments can make it harder to lose weight. That is a question for your doctor as is your calorie limit/goal.
  • How long ago did you switch to 0 calorie sweateners and soda? You protein intake is fine. it could be a little higher but shouldn't be the cause of your problem. The daily multi you are taking should be covering any deficiencies you may have in your diet.

  • Just remember that you body needs water to metabolize protein. If you aren't ingesting enough water, it will dehydrate you to metabolize it.   • OK, did a little research. A Salmon pattie consists of three main ingredients. Salmon, Eggs and Bread crumbs. I am no cook so I need some informed opinions.   • Mustard with egg salad I could do, kinda like a deviled egg salad. Not sure about mustard with tuna though. have to try that one. Both would work great as more glue to hold sammies together.

  • No argument there but I am trying to hit 50 grams of protein and 20 of fat. One serving of peanut butter is about 20 grams of fat and only 7 grams of protein. I know, I am odd ball. I am more worried about macros than calories.

  • High calorie low carb is going to be the fatty foods like nuts and avocado as mentioned. A handfull of almonds will net you a couple hundred calories and has the "good" fats.
  • Alligator, shark, squid, buffalo, ostrich, moose, dog food, Cheeto covered in dirt, beef tongue. Weirder than all this was the slices of deep fried lemon that came with an order of calamari. For the record, everything but the Cheeto and the dog food tasted great.

  • I think you meant BMR. Body Mass Index has nothing to do with your activity level. If you doctor says that you are over weight tell him to take a hike or use a more accurate measurable like Body fat %. BMI and weight are only half indicators of health.   • Barbell full squats over 180 lbs. Lower than that and I barely notice an increase in HR.
  • Thanks for the link. I joined the 366 push up group at the beginning of the year and have maxed out at 20 per set. Since I will be doing 366 push ups at the end of the year, I need to make my sets a little bigger so I don't take hours to get them done. I will be using the 100 push up protocol to increase my max reps.
