I really do wish MFP had a sort of orientation manual that explains all of this when you first join. Most of us on the site just want to lose weight... we didn't come in already equipped with the mathematical "how to." As someone who hates math and numbers, I really enjoyed reading this! It made it so simple and…

Vic! You are so awesome... thank you for all your hard work! I'm proud to be one of your losers. :) 12 weeks sure went by quickly, and now I'm so ready for the next challenge! :)

If changing your diet and exercise is brand new for you, it will probably take longer than just one week to see some numbers change. I know that can be frustrating, but can you feel other differences? Do you have more energy, feel better, sleep better? All of those are other noticeable benefits... and how you know what…

143.8 this week! I can't believe my number is still going down with the crazy last two weeks I've had. I'm trying to really get back on track. I am in serious disbelief that I am SO close to seeing the 130's.... I've tried to get there so many times before, but I don't think I really believed it was possible... that I…

I can't get to my other posts right now to put my previous stuff on, but here's the weigh in! 5/15: 145.2 Maintained at least since wednesday which is great because of family visitors, eating out, and no time to work Out. Time to get back to it!!

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." --Gandhi This is an exciting week for me. :) I will graduate from college on Saturday (which is big enough on its own), but I am also probably in the best shape of my life and weigh less than I have since I graduated from high school five…

Sorry to be so late! It has been a crazy week! Weighing in at 146 this AM! :) So happy. I am moving my mini goal back a few weeks... it took a while for me to experience some consistent weight loss, but I think it's happening now. I'm going to leave my goal at 135 even though I won't be reaching it by the end of our…

Oh this is good! :) - watch my sodium intake... try to keep it below what is alloted. - find better foods, start cooking more and planning out my meals. - be patient with the progress and not expect it to happen over night! :) Here we go, May!

I am a full time student and an actor! It's very hard to find time to work out some days... those are the ones where I wake up extra early just to get in my work out. I try to warm myself up a bit first and make sure I am awake, but yes... I still do some strength training. It can be hard to make yourself do it, but it…

This has become my turkey sandwich alternative... 1 Wheat Torilla Turkey Spinach Laughing Cow Cheese (some spices/herbs if you want) super easy... I just toast the tortilla in a frying pan and set it aside. Then I put the spinach in the pan with some Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning and let it wilt. Then I put in the…

Weighing in at 147.6 Well, no change this week... but I'm seeing that as a good thing. I am actually down in the 140's and have stayed there a solid week without the 150's sneaking up on me again. That's great for me. :) So, I won't be hitting my mini goal, but that's okay! Things are gonna be a bit crazy for me this next…

You seriously look awesome! Bikini here you come!! :)

I've really liked the 30DS... it sure kicks my butt! I've heard some people think the first level is really easy after they've developed more endurance (which I'm sure you have after insanity), but I think it's still worth checking out. It's a good burn and it let's you push yourself. Plus, like someone already said, it's…

BUMPing with my chart for the end of the week. :) Starting Weight: 152 Goal Weight: 120 Challenge Goal: 135 3/27: 149 4/3: 152 4/10: 149 4/17: 149 4/24: 147.6 5/1: 5/8: <<<mini goal>>> 142 5/15: 5/22: 5/29: 6/5: 6/12: <<<challenge goal>>> 135 Question: Today was Day 16 of the 30DS for me... it's been a crazy process. I get…

I'm sure the coke has a lot to do with it... as a fellow coke addict... I definitely dropped some when I stopped drinking it. I have also been on birth control for three years and I've never lost weight because of it. I would definitely read up on the pill you are taking and see what it says side effects are. Or check with…

Right now I'm working on the 30 Day Shred. I just finished day 13. I also do ballet, jazz, and tai chi twice a week. I'm pretty consistent with my work outs... I think food is my down fall. I am a full time wife, actor, and student... I am almost never home so it's hard to make sure I am getting all the right foods. I…

seriously... what are you doing??!

OH MY WORD. This just made my day... no joke. I am SO in! :D

Weighing in at 149. No loss this week, but I'm feeling good about maintaining. It feels like I'm really moving lower now instead of bouncing around. I'm also a week into 30DS and loving it! Hoping to see more of a difference next week. I also took some start pictures when I started the 30DS -- so, eventually I'll post some…

You really look awesome! :) Sometimes it just helps to be told that... and by people that aren't biased. Just keep doing what you are doing. Work on toning up, etc if you aren't totally happy. This journey is ultimately between you and your body. It's about the way you feel and not what other people tell you. You need to…

You look awesome!! :) Way to go! I just finished day 7 and I'm hoping my results will be as great as yours!

You can log it as circuit training and it will give you a rough estimate :)

Ugh... not a good week. I was 149 starting the challenge. 152 when I started MFP a few weeks ago... I weighed in this AM and I'm back at 152. I splurged a bit too much this weekend... I really need a change in what I'm eating.
