I know what a psychiatrist is, thank you very much. A psychiatrist is the one who will evaluate her and can then refer her to a psychologist. Both a psychiatrist and psychologist can perform CBT on her, if it is in fact psychological.
-
Take her to a psychiatrist.
-
You need to report her.
-
Was she a dietitian or a nutritionist? No reputable dietitian would ever recommend this diet. An unqualified nutritionist would, however.
-
Either make it fit into your calorie goal or bring your own snacks.

I drank Shakeology for 3 months. It did nothing for me except take $140 out of my pocket every month. It also made me incredibly nauseous and gave me severe abdominal pain.
-
The 3 lbs you lost is water weight. Given that you only have 20 lbs to lose, a 17 lb loss by July is WAY too aggressive for you. Recalculate your goal.
-
Given you have 103 lbs to lose, I'd think you would lose weight eating 1800 calories. But maybe you aren't burning as many calories as you think you are. Definitely give 1600 calories/day a try. And toss the pills! One more question… Do you have any medical conditions? If you have any endocrine condition, your calorie…

Diet pills don't teach you portion control or moderation. They take away your appetite. So when you stop the pills, you gain the weight back because your hunger returns and you never learned how to practice portion control. Honestly, the pills are not worth your time or money. You can lose weight naturally, through a…

Usually because it helps them hit their protein goal and it is convenient. You are bound to gain weight when building muscle because you will need to be in a calorie surplus in order to do so.
-
When you say weigh… Do you use a food scale or measuring cups/spoons?
-
I feel really bad for anyone who believes that bologna
-
Protein powder doesn't cause weight gain. A calorie surplus does.

10 lbs in 6 months on a medically supervised diet…… Most people on a medically supervised diet lose 10 lbs in a month because of calorie restriction. So you must be eating too many calories. How many calories are you eating? Do you use a food scale?
-
You've been on a medically supervised diet but have lost 0 pounds out of the 103 you have to lose?

The extreme hunger you feel is from low blood sugar. Immediately after donation, you will want to drink juice or eat something sweet like cookies or cake to bring blood glucose up rapidly. When you get home, I would eat a well-balanced meal of protein, fat, and carbs.
-
As blood volume decreases, it causes a sudden drop in blood pressure. This sudden drop causes some people to faint. Sudden decreases in blood sugar level also cause fainting. That's the reason why they give you 10 chocolates. It has nothing to do with calorie output. You don't log blood donation as 'exercise' because it…

Lmfao. It's actually common sense that diet soda DOES NOT wreck havoc on insulin levels. Hence why the ADA recommends diabetics drink diet soda. Please stop spreading misinformation. Thanks :)

As someone who suffers from severe hypoglycemia myself, trying 5:2 would be an absolutely terrible idea. Do not even think about it. It is not an option for you. I've never heard of not being able to call your doctor… Sounds questionable to me. With a condition like yours, you can call your doctor at any time to schedule…

A no carb diet means no vegetables, no fruits, no nuts/seeds, etc… It is not sustainable and you are basically setting yourself up for failure if you try it. Instead, eat a well-balanced diet of carbs, protein, and fat.

Honestly, I would embrace the excess skin. It is a constant reminder of the blood, sweat, and tears you shed throughout your weight loss journey. It is a constant reminder of your hard work, perseverance, and dedication. That's a beautiful thing.

Carbs before workout (banana, oatmeal, toast with PB) Protein after workout (chicken, salmon, protein shake/bar)
-
What are you eating for dinner? Is it mostly carbs? Perhaps you aren't eating enough protein and fat.

If you've always had hips, you're always going to have hips; no matter what weight you are. Embrace it.

You say you don't go into REM sleep… Neither do I. You also say you take anti-anxiety meds…Which one if you don't mind me asking. I ask because anxiety medications are the reason I don't go into REM. It is a side effect of some drugs.

I can tell you right now that you're not going to lose weight eating 2000 calories while taking Seroquel. You need to lower your calorie goal; probably to 1400 calories.
-
You cannot take Phentermine/Topamax for the rest of your life. So, pill popping isn't sustainable either and will likely result in weight gain after you stop taking the drug.
-
Just because Topamax is used for multiple conditions doesn't mean it should be called a 'depressant' or 'appetite suppressant' when it is in the anti-epileptic drug class.
