MFP does assume that you eat back your calories, but I don't think it is mandatory that you do. The big thing is east at least 1200 calories per day. As for the slowing in weight loss, you dropped a lot (congrats by the way) very fast, so your body is adjusting to those changes. Moreover, you may want to consider changing…

Ladders. I always never go past 2 steps from the top. Even worse for me is the ladder than leads to a platform (e.g., hayloft), it takes me like 10+ minute to build the courage to get back onto the ladder to come down and usually I have the BF standing below to catch me/break my fall.

I have heard clear liquors are better (e.g., vodka) than dark (e.g., whiskey). Also, look for the "good" v. "bad" key words in a recipe (e.g., boiled and steamed=good, fried and scalloped=bad) you can probably Google this too. Have fun. I am rewarding myself with an all-inclusive when I reach my goal.

Walmart (Danskin products) or Old Navy, all on sale, so like $5 fro a top, $10 for a pant/capri

It could have to do with you being a lady, if you catch my drift. I know that the only week I gained (only 0.6 lbs) since Jan 4 coordinated with that special monthly time.

I like doing it without shoes, but I like doing all at home workouts without shoes

That's crazy.

Where can you find shirataki noodles?

If possible with your family's schedule, talk with your husband to see if there is an evening that you could participate in one of the classes. Discuss the importance of your participation and see if something can be worked out.

You can make roasts with veggies or a whole chicken (eat as is or shred for BBQ) in the Crock Pot

Professor as a career and near retirement I want to start a wildlife consulting business, shooting club, and/or dog breeding/training business.

Look the through the recipe thread since there are a lot of options there. Another good place to go is SparkPeople.com. They are a free website and you can search through member posted websites. The great thing about MFP is that there are no restrictions, but this site teaches moderation. As a general rule, I stick to…

Speaking of people being awkward, a high school friend is currently taking one of my mom's classes at the local community college, which sparked some Facebook threads between us. Then she sent me a private message to give me her number to call her because she "missed our "fatness" haha". This made me WTF her. Granted she…

I agree, different scales can give different weights, especially if the old one was not digital and your new one is. Digital are more accurate.

Do frozen as mentioned above. In addition to tasting better, they are not precooked as they are in canned, so frozen veggies tend to have more nutrients than canned.

When I go the the gym, I like to have a buddy so I can secretly compete with them ( for instance I think if they can do an intensity of x, then so can I). That being said, I have had slacker buddies, so I drop them as gym friends and find new ones. I had one at a point that was so bad that while playing tennis with her I…

I prelog food to plan my day if I think I might be weak (temptations at work, so this way I stay on track). I do not prelog exercise, but that is a personal choice. Some people find it helpful to make them accountable, but for me, I don't like to add calories into my diet until I earn them in case life gets in the way, I…

My mom has been riding a typical stationary bike (not spinning one) and she says that helps her. One thing you have to make sure of is that your knees/thighs are parallel to the bikes frame because if not it can cause knee pain (personal experiences from spin class) and your muscles will not develop as quickly. Also, I am…

Way to go, you can do it.

I have found it you rinse them first (especially if juices are coming out of the first slice) that it reduces the tears.

I made Tofu Alfredo with it from a SparkPeople recipe that I like. Other than that I do not like making it for myself since I think when I make it is gross, but sometimes I get it from a restaurant since they know how to prepare it.

1 cup half thawed honeydew melon, I cut or ball the melon then freeze on a baking sheet so the pieces are frozen individually. I then put the melon into 1 cup containers and have them daily as a snack. 64 calories, and in a regular sized melon you get about 8 cups.

If you are at a gym you can often ask one of the employees to be your spotter since that is what they are there for.

I made scallops the one year for Valentine's from a old Weight Watchers cookbook I had. I bought 8 sea scallops (big ones, bay are the small ones) and that was relatively inexpensive and fancy for the main dish.

I am going on a vacation to the Caribbean and I have been putting $5 away per lb I lose for a new wardrobe as well so that I can have a shopping spree. Both of these will be firsts for me, so I am very excited about these.

Some makeup only stores or makeup counters in malls will teach you how to apply and what the best products would be for you. If you seem interested in buying something they usually do it for free.

"its" not ok to ask me how far along I am. I am not pregnant, never have been, just over weight and holding it in my lower waist. Thanks for the confidence booster you ignorant jerk.

Achatz's Michigan 4 berry pie with crumble topping is a no in my house. I did not replace it with anything, I just moved out of state so I only get it when I am at my parents.
