I am not your size but I am more than happy to help support you on your journey! I have lost the majority of my weight without exercise so I can definitely help with the food part of losing (which is really 90% of weightloss). Good for you and welcome to MFP!

Before my kids I was a B cup and 300 lbs, it sucked! It's one of the first things I noticed as I lose weight!

Eating healthy and exercise. Keeping myself accountable for everything I eat, clean eating, and a total lifestyle change. Planning ahead has helped the most, I make a plan for the day and stick to it, if I want something more I have to work out to fit it in. It's easier to make a plan and stay in all limits before you…

My son has autism and the iPad has helped him more than anything else. They use them in therapies and special education classes now. I understand the concern with them, and all games/iPods/tv/etc. but they really can be a fantastic learning tool. The only way I can get him from having a meltdown in public is by giving him…

feel free to add me as well! :)

I have PCOS as well, if you'd like REAL advice instead of this insane advice message or add me :)

Thanks all! I will just take it easy and enjoy then, just don't want to break the habits I already have in place. My family is supportive so they won't mind me adapting my meals as long as they don't have to adapt their meals too ;) lol. Typical southern family with lots of cream, butter, sugar, bacon grease, gravy,…

I have been over 200 lbs since I was 12 years old. When I hit ONEderland I won't know what to do with myself!

This is where a heart rate monitor comes in handy. I mark myself as sedentary and then log all the extra calories from cooking/cleaning/shopping, etc. MFP is way off on my calories burned, saying I burn double the calories on the elliptical and half the calories I burn while cooking (though I dance while cooking). If you…

Feel free to add me, I have lost 70 of the 147 I need to lose to be considered "healthy" and will decide when I get there if I need to lose more
-
I have already lost 70 of my 147 lbs to lose, but I'd still love to join and get friends!

Awesome job! Wtg!

Welcome to MFP! To not let your total wl goal overwhelm you make small goals, and make goals that aren't related to a number on a scale. That way you don't have to wait long to feel accomplished. Good luck, you CAN do this!

Having my husband carry me through the threshold of our next home (for the first time) Not having to shop at plus size stores (and paying plus size prices) Being able to keep up with my sons Hiking without feeling like I will die To be able to do any hobby I want without physical ability holding me back To not be the fat…

Your biggest struggle will be the one inside yourself. You have to learn to love YOU not the size you are. My aunt was a little overweight, not obese just "chunky" as everyone called her. They teased her constantly just because it got her so riled up. She became anorexic, refusing to eat anything. This went on for years,…

So beyond inspiring, you are simply gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your story

Wtg, you are doing awesome! Keep it up!

I have 81lbs to lose, 5'9" and currently 251. Feel free to add me

According to my diary from when I was 12 I was 180 lbs, and hit 200 by 13. I have never been close to that number since then. It will be insane to admit when I finally 199 that I hadn't weighed that much since elementary school >_<

And remember, what sucks the most about PCOS is that your body craves everything that is the worst for you. As if cravings weren't hard enough for everyone, you are going to crave them twice as much. Acknowledge and accept that so when you get in that mode you can say "this isn't me, this is PCOS and I will NOT let it take…

When I get like this I down a glass of water and see if maybe I was just thirsty. 20ish minutes later if I still want to eat I get something healthy. If I feel like that 30 minutes later I know I either haven't been eating the right things recently, didn't eat enough spacing it out throughout the day, or I am bored. I try…

feel free to add me. I love to get motivated by others and to help motivate them back! It helps keep you on track.

I love my Taylor7402, it's smooth and wide and really accurate. The only problem is if you rest something on it on accident it glitches out (like when my 18lb cat used to lay on it lol). But it has a five year warranty no questions asked so that's good. Best price is on amazon but I think Walmart.com has it too
