I've been vegan for about 8 months now. Trying to eat more plant based and less 'junk food vegan' recently. Anyone looking for some foodspiration and support, feel free to add me. I would love to have more friends!

I would love to have some friends here. It's been a LONG time since I used this tool to help with my health goals and I'm in need of some accountability buddies! I'm whole food plant based, but would love to help support anyone on their journey.

Would love more active friends!

I've lost the most when I restrict sugar and fast carbs. No dairy except cottage cheese, no fruits except tomato and avocado, no breads, rice, pasta, cereal or tortillas. I'll only allow them for myself once a week. Lots of beans, protein and veggies. I've lost 33 pounds in the last 24 days... But I had a baby 24 days ago,…

Hi Kelsey! Glad that you're taking steps to better yourself. It IS possible. It took me about a year to lose the 70 pounds I wanted to, and I felt amazing when I was done. I gained about 30 back with my last pregnancy, so here I am, at it again to lose that 30. Feel free to add me. my diary is open to friends")

This is amazing for you! In 2012 I, too, "cured" myself of PCOS, after having been on metformin for a mere 6 months. I lost 55 pounds in that 6 months. When I hit the weight goal my Dr set for me, she said I could come off of it. I had some tests done and no cysts, completely normal hormones, and regular cycles. I even…

Thanks everyone! It's incredibly nice to see other people working hard to achieve their goals! Gives me a ton of motivation and inspiration!

Thank you for fixing it for me! I almost never use the forums. lol.

My baby is almost 5 YEARS old! I've only just gotten under my pregnancy weight (from the day I had him). And I am finally nearing my pre pregnancy weight. You CAN do this. If you don't have a buddy system in place, get a buddy here. It's easier to stick to a plan when you're not the only person holding yourself accountable.

We're already friends, But I'm in Cali too! Central California. Anyone else feel free to add me :D

Don't think of this as a diet! This has to be a lifestyle change for it to work. When in doubt, tell yourself to reach for something healthy. Get an apple with some peanut butter. Have raisins, bananas, strawberries.. anything like that for sweets.

Patti! You can do this! My current goal is 135. My doctor's goal for me is 145, but I know that I can do better than that.

Just so that you all know... I am NOT diabetic! I am on Metformin for my PCOS. It helps women with this condition to have regular cycles... and weight loss is merely a side effect.

I don't eat red meat, generally. I always use ground turkey instead of beef. And i have things like bacon or ham very infrequently. I know I need to cut out things like sour cream.. and I'm trying to avoid cheese now. Yes, Metformin makes you lose weight. Though I don't like the side effects when having to get used to it.…

Though I personally have never had my naval pierced, my sister and a few other people I know who are now mommies have had it. And yes, it is common to get stretch marks with that. There isn't much you're going to be able to do about it, short of getting your stretch marks removed via laser.

YES! I have a heart condition called Peroxysmal Supra-Ventricular Tachycardia, or PSVT. I have had to wear a monitor before, and was diagnosed with this 9 years ago. It is a rhythm abnormality. I can't have stimulii and am encouraged by my physicians not to get my heart rate up too much. My Dr. ended up putting me on a…

I don't try not to eat the junk. But I COUNT how much I'm eating... I hold myself accountable and make sure I am only eating ONE serving. lol. Get yourself a food scale or use measuring cups to make sure that you're not overdoing it. Just something that helps me :) Maybe it will help you too :D

I have the same weight loss goal. Add me if you'd like :D

villarod- I started yesterday and it was so simple to log everything that I ate. They have a great guidance system in place. It really helps you to realize what you are putting into your body.. and makes you a little more aware of what you shouldn't be eating. I love it!

Thank you all! Added everyone. I'm so excited about this site. I'm sure that it will be a wonderful tool for me.

I know this won't apply to everyone, and it may not apply to or work for you either.. But as far as being a baker and eating the cakes goes.... I too bake a lot. Have a tattoo of a cupcake and am seriously toying with the idea of taking cake decorating classes. Anywhoo, I can't have chocolate (for health reasons). So when…

Hello! I also have PCOS. I got up to nearly 200 pounds and my doctor put me on a medication in September called Metformin. That medication alone has cause me to have regular cycles as well as drop my weight down to 165 with little to no effort. Though it's horrible with side effects until you get used to it. I still have…

Thank you all for the feedback! I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle. Not that I want to, but I have some health issues that prevent me from doing too much. I take an hour walk a few times a week.. and my car broke down yesterday, So I'll be walking a lot more now. lol. So far, the app is easy to use. It's equipped with a…
