Posture. Google "anterior pelvic tilt." You've probably got one without realizing. Try to correct for it (there are exercises to help you figure out what muscles to use) -- you'll lose belly.

I'm going to try to remember this. Thanks!

I might, just maybe, have once faked a huge, juicy, giant fart noise just before I split out the door in response to a stall-talker who had been unfazed by the flush.

I have a coworker who has gained some weight and apparently the only pants that fit her are corduroys. Hearing that zip-zip-zip all day multiple times a week as she walks through the office makes me nuts.

Because, if the spots are tight you're lining up your driver's side with another driver's side. Assuming most people leave more room on the side they exit from, that gives you an extra couple inches in which to get in and out of the car.

I think your own "About Me" quote pretty much answers the question: "That guy at the gym who is always there but doesn't look very buff for how much time he spends working out. "

You said it all very well. I am not able to moderate the junk. My "treat" these days is juice. JUICE! And that's now sweet enough.

Cold turkey is HARD but sometimes it's necessary. I was off sugar for about a year and now I find that when I eat it, I crave it. Xylitol is a good substitute for sugar; when I *really* need something chocolate (that once-a-month thing, you know what I mean), I make myself a "chocolate milkshake" with protein powder,…

That's a good point. I know a couple where she is about 6'2" (really... the tallest girl I've ever known) and he is probably about 5'5". I think it makes them both seem really secure in themselves and in their relationship.

Those last few are the hardest to lose. I agree with everyone, you need to eat in a range somewhere between your BMR and TDEE to help your body know it's not starving.

I'm 5'10" and *love* to wear heels. My motto is, "Height is power" (sorry petite people). Though when I had a boyfriend who was 5'7" I did not wear them around him; I felt awkward although he didn't care. My SO now is 6'4" so even in my tallest heels he beats me :)

I'm also 5'10" and I think it depends really on your body composition. If you've got muscle tone, then you're at a great weight! If you have little muscle and it's fat, then you could probably stand to try to change that balance (more muscle, less fat). ETA: you are not *fat*. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the…
