Martha Stewart has a really simple good Lemony Kale salad recipe. You can also make kale chips by baking in a low oven after spraying with a bit of olive oil and sea salt. These are good crushed and added to popcorn. Make sure you remove the rib as it is tough and bitter!

So far so good... Tuesday: Got the 8 cups of water, but spent a LOT of time running to the wc.... :-{) It rained after my run, so DH didn't run and I got to go to yoga!=75 min of activity PLUS walking the dog (which I don't usually count, but I did today!) I found some at Radio Schack that go over your ear. The speaker still sits in your ear. I can't wear the buds because they are too big to fit in my ear or they hurt! They used to make them with a volume slider on the cord, but I am unable to find these anymore. Good luck.

Have you tried protein? Rather than focusing strictly on carbs/calories I find that some protein and then a snack midmorning really helps. I alternate between Greek yogurt (lowfat homemade) with fruit and a high fiber cereal mixed in one day and oatmeal with peanut butter and dried fruit. Hard boiled egg whites are another…
