I make a huge bowl of ice cream in my cuisinart food processor. It only has frozen nonfat ice cubes, ice cubes of coffee, cocoa power and one banana and sweetener. For 300 calories I get more than two quarts of ice cream. Then I can sit down and splurge. Since I am a binger, this is perfect for me.

I delay having something I want, like a hot bath, or going to the mailbox or calling a friend until I have exercised. THen I exercise with less enthusiasm, but for the required 25 minutes I have set for myself.

I have some practical advice. I tell each of my family members that I am going to exercise now. They are more than happy to give me 25 minutes. Sleep, some sort of "you only live once" personality - the party me, tired, smell and sight of my binge foods, laziness. It takes a LOT of dealing with this stuff to stay on track. Up 11 pounds this year, but since I am back on fitnesspal, I have had a better week. I need this avenue for help.
