I was able to racewalk a mile for the first time after foot surgery in May. Working my way back to my usual 3 miles.

I am managing to do real pushups every morning-10 at a time so far!!

You can use vinegar to relax the previous hem that won't let go.

I'm 57 and hoping to be post-menopausal soon (just a few more months without a period and I'll be there). I joined MFP in January 2014 and lost 20 pounds by May. I have regained a few through laziness. My goal for 2015 is1) to get back to where I was (145 lbs.) and perhaps go a little further (140 lbs.), and 2) increase my…

I'm 5'9" and started at 165-170 Jan 2014. With the help I've lost 20 pounds and maintained at 145. Working toward 140 this year but intend to do it slowly. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures.

I lost 20 pounds between January and May and have maintained the loss since then. My BP and cholesterol both came down to good levels and my doctor was really pleased. MFP was essential to the process. I'm now working on incorporating more regular exercise into my life. I'm having fun buying clothes that fit or altering…

Well done, that is great progress. I can's say that I shrunk but at least I held my weight, and am getting back on track now.

I have a pair of pants and a couple of skirts that I could fit into, but then wouldn't be able to breathe. Just another inch in the waist would make the difference.

My sister-in-law's cooking was delicious but reasonably healthy, given the holiday. So I did not eat too badly and came home and made fish tacos for dinner (Cooking Light recipe). Going for a long race walk this morning and will keep on going with healthy eating.

I'm 5'9" and started out approx 165. Started MFP late January and got down to current weight of 145 by May. I wouldn't mind losing another 5 pounds but mostly need to tone up. I was starting to edge into wearing size 14 (American) and am now a size 10. I've enjoyed buying new clothes and weeding out the closet to donate…

I found that I can do real pushups instead of 'ladies pushups,' feeling strong!

I've been altering some favorite clothes to make them smaller because they were too baggy to wear. (I've bought some clothes, too, size 10 instead of 12 or 14.). I am going to enjoy wearing these favorites and look better in them, too. Several people have noticed I've lost weight and I'm happy to say, yes, I've lost 20…

My doctor suggested taking Coromega fish oil (you can find it on Amazon). My problem has been high triglycerides and the Coromega alone brought them into a healthy range. Then I lost 20 pounds using MFP and my total cholesterol was 148 (it has been over 250) at last measure with low triglycerides and low LDL (still taking…

You could take your favorite T-shirts and have a quilt made out of them. That way you can still keep the ones you treasure and make room in your closet for clothes that fit. Such a good feeling.

I see a difference, too. Just think that you are no longer carrying that 27 kg around--that must be freeing. Keep up the good work.

Needing to buy pants in a size 10 and needing to alter shorts that were so big they looked sloppy. i had been starting to purchase a size 14 which I hated. (I'm 5'9"). I'm going to need to go for a fitting for a bra to get the right size again. Most especially, impressing my doctor with a drop in cholesterol to 148 (with…

Cutting out potato chips. They're a real weakness for me. I gave up soda several years ago but was eating potato chips nearly every day--too much sodium and lots of unnecessary calories.
