I got in another 4 miles between Friday and Saturday for a total of 20.5. Can't wait for the next challenge!

Great job hitting your miles! I have the 30DS and it is pretty awesome. It's a quick (20-30 minute) workout, but you will feel it and you will see results. I haven't ever stuck with it long enough to get past level 2, but even so I was able to see a difference in my stamina by day 5. Good luck!

5 more miles today puts me at 16.5 miles for the week! And it's only Thursday! Sorry for the excitement - I fell short of the 15 last week so I am thrilled that I hit this weeks goal early. As for the something new, I got out my Wii Zumba game the other night. I forgot how much fun it was. I am contemplating buying…

Welcome! This is a great program. So many that didn't thimk they could run at all are finding out that they really can do it! And we are all at different points in the program so we will be here for a while celebrating each others successes.
-
Great job! I agree - having the accountability definitely gives me a push to go farther. Plus you added crunches - Way to go! I chalked up another 2 yesterday for a total of 12 this week. I'm hoping to get the last 4 done tonight so that the rest of the week I am beating the goal!
-
Hey - you did it! Don't worry about your speed. That will come. Just focus on getting out there and getting the miles in. If you are finding it too hard to finish the run segments, the best thing to do is slow down. Once you get to the point of running 5K, then you can work on speed. Great job!
-
You guys all rock! 5 more miles for me yesterday - hopefully I can keep up this momentum!
-
2 down Sunday, 2.5 down Monday! I am a third of the way there already! Starting C25K tonight so that will definitely help the mileage.
-
Wow! Welcome to all of the new runners! Our group rocks! It looks like we have quite a range of runners which is awesome. We can all learn from each others successes and mishaps. I am starting tonight and I can't wait. I am also going to look for a 5K to sign up for to keep me motivated. Great job and remember to stretch…

Good Morning everyone! I hope that all of you that start C25K today are successful. It will be soo awesome to be able to run a 5K in 9 weeks. As a previous runner, just a few thoughts... 1. Don't worry about speed. Speed is something that we can work on after we build endurance. The general rule is that whatever your pace…

Count me in! I was running quite a bit up unil early May. I even finished a half marathon (walking most of it), but I haven't been running at all since then. I am ready to start over and get back into it. I work all day and then I have class on Monday nights so I will be starting on Tuesday. Thanks for starting the thread…

2 miles down today! I am definitely starting off better than I did last week.
-
Welcome to the challenge!
-
I fell short last week, but I am all in this week!

Checking in - still plugging away slowly. Just got back from vacation on Monday and I can't seem to recover my energy! Monday: 1.86 Tuesday: 1.65 Wednesday - 2.0 Thursday - 2.5 Total for week: 8.01 miles Can I get in 7 miles in 2 days??? Yes I can, especially because one of those days is Saturday! We are going out for my…

How is everyone doing? This thread has kind of died off. I am hoping that you are all keeping the momentum going along woth the scale! I am continuing to plug away, unfortunately the scale is not moving. My eating hasn't seemed to be too bad the last few weeks, but I haven't been tracking on MFP so I'm sure I am decieving…

Aaahhh! I am falling behind! I only got in 1.65 yesterday. I am making it a point to get caught up today - NO EXCUSES. Totals so far for the week: Monday: 1.86 Tuesday: 1.65 Total for week: 3.51 miles But I have four days to go in this challenge - plenty of time to catch up! And welcome to all of the new challengers - you…

Alright - Monday's are tough. I go right from work to school, so exercise is minimal. I did manage to get in 1.88 miles though. I am planning on putting in a few tonight though. I will meet this goal! Great job to those of you who have already racked up some mileage though!
-
Count me in! I just got home from vacation and my classes start up again tomorrow so this challenge will be perfect for me to transition back into "real life".
-
I am in the process of packing for camping right now! We are leaving inthe morning and will be gone for a week. I am planning on limiting my junk intake and getting a LOT of exercise! I am hoping to lose a very big chunk this week.

I think theidea is 30 consecutive days, but we all know that sometimes life won't allow it. In another group I post with a couple of the ladies did the shred over about 5 weeks and still saw amazing results. So I think a rest day would be fine!
-
Oh...this is painful. 190 - Starting weight. 43 in - waist measurment. 13 in each - right and left arms. 26 in each - right and left thighs. 47 in - Hips Getting ready to shred!
-
It sounds like a lot of us struggled this last week either with eating, exercise, or overall health. You are not alone! I think we all need to chalk this week up as a lesson learned, accept our weight for what it is, and kick butt over the next week! We can do this together! If we all get back on track I'm sure we will all…

I am restarting 30DS tonight. I was going to wait until after vacation, but I thought there is no better time than now. I will get 2 or 3 days in before vacation, and then I will miss 7 days. But I think by starting today it will give me the momentum to stay active while on vacation. Mo and Laz - I am so impressed with…

Count me in! I will post measurements (reluctantly) tonight. I am ready to start it over!

I am a part of another 30DS group that started back in July. Unfortunately, I let life get in the way close to the end of level 1 and didn't complete it. However, some of the results from the people in the group that did finish are amazing. It is a great workout! I am going to start back into it on Aug 8 when I return from…
-
Great job on the weight loss! That is huge! And don't give up on 30DS. It does get easier. I started it in July. Unfortunately, I experienced that whole life in the way thing too. But when I was doing the DVD, by day 4 or 5 I could definitely tell a difference, especially in the jumping jacks. I am going to start it again…
-
6.5 Inches?!?!?!?! Whoa! Did you take before and afters? That has to be a HUGE difference. Way to go once again!
-
Welcome back! I'm glad you had a nice time on vacation. Everyone is at different points in their "Shred Journey" - we even have some recent graduates. I am somewhere in the middle and I am on vacation myself after Friday. We are going camping so 30DS will be on hold for a week as there is not quite enough room in…
