I'm thinking you aren't being patient enough with yourself. Give yourself credit. You have had weight losses. You also have other issues. You may need to get to the root of the problem such as depression.

I would rather eat my calories but I would ask myself if I continue have x number of drinks nightly or whatever, in a year what is it going to do to me and also in years to come. A person's tolerance level increases too which means you need more alcohol to get the same effect as what one drink used to do. What is it doing…

I agree to use lots of fiber, fruit and veg. I use a morning shake which includes fiber, protein powder, fruit, along with chia seeds which really fill you up.

I agree that is is all about making better choices....for example, instead of fries, try a salad or baked potato. It may be difficult but when you know how many calories are in some of our bad choices, it makes me think twice. I also so ask myself what can I do without? I also split a meal with someone.
